What a fascinating response despite my original comment being so old. Thank you. It’s interesting that you responded today, because I’m at a technology conference, and I was right behind the interpreters during this morning’s keynote by here were a lot of words I saw them spell out and thought about this.

Cynically, it feels like someone who is out of touch tried to come up with something edgy, and this is the result.

Al Capone was arguably one of the greatest gangsters in American history. The Feds couldn’t take him down with murder, racketeering, or extortion...but they got him on taxes.

Oh man, like others have said, there are other programming paradigms.

My gf has ordered hers, so she gets to be my guinea pig. History says that being an early adopter isn’t in my best interest, but I do like it quite a bit.

See I was thinking Hwoarang or Eddie Gordo for Tekken. At least back when TTT was popular.

You're right. I don't need to spen the money on the car I want. It's ridiculous. It's just that, before I was a responsible adult, I was a pretty big gear / petrol head, and recently that has been re-emerging.

I also like to be

Yeah. YEAH!

Yeah, that works. Oh, the waiting though.

That's good advice. Unfortunately, as somewhat of a car guy, I'm keenly aware of the ways in which the newest model is different from older models. Thanks nonetheless.

Sound, logical advice. I'm currently struggling with the desire to buy a new car. I DO NOT need it. I DO want it. Badly.

What you're talking is the insuline or carbohydrate theory of obesity, and while it seemed to make sense and was wildly popular for a time, it's been largely demonstrated to be untrue at this point. Here's a great article composed by an obesity researcher on the subject with TONS of supporting data and links to

What I mean the use of the term engineer in the job title is actually regulated in some places. For instance, my actual job title currently includes the word engineer, but I think in Canada I wouldn’t be allowed to hold that title without appropriate licensure.
