Seems to me that if you have good credit and good self control, then credit cards would be better because of the perks you get. Of course, credit card companies rely on people not having good self control to make that $$$. Probably credit if you have good self control, debit cards if you don't.

I mean, that's entirely your perogative if you prefer it. I do agree with Nick that I don't like the verbosity of the language, even though I learned it before I switched to C#. Microsoft has publicly stated they inted to develop the languages with parallel features from I think version 3.5 onward, so it's not as if

Aww, look at you being all cute and antagonistic.

I say C# typically because of the C-based syntax. It's so common that I really think you're doing yourself a disservice by picking Visual Basic as your go-to .NET language.

Vote: C# .NET

Gah, sometimes being an adult sucks. I have to be really picky about what games I play beacause I just don't have the time to play them much anymore. For me, I look for one of two things: fun, easy to pick up multiplayer or engaging, story driven single player. I don't have time to plow through five levels of prestige

Yeah, I think I may pay about $100 / year, and I routinely spend more than that on dental visits.

You can track food in the Fitbit application itself, although I like tracking diet in MyFitnessPal much, MUCH better. Then you can link the two apps together as well. To be honest, I got in on the ground floor of BodBot with a lifetime membership, and I've been fairly dissapointed with their timeline for new features.

Just made a ton of this over the Christmas holiday. Delicious.

I think it's more obtrusive than helpful for most people most of the time, so I set it.

Nice, I use both for exactly the same reasons. I do have one nit to pick though - are you sure drop box doesn't sync video? I ask because looking at my drop box account t just now, I see videos that were automatically backed up from back in August.

I downloaded it if that makes you feel any better.

Christmas isn't necessarily a strictly Christian holiday anyways. Sure, there are the "keep Christ in Christmas" folks who want it that way, but it's a mish-mash of traditions and, at this point, is a fairly secular, cultural holiday more than a religious one. Celebrate away - no one will revoke your atheist card. I

Ha! Literally just heard this a couple of weeks ago as my gf was rewatching that show. Less is more, gentlemen.

Okay, I feel the need to weigh in on this a little more after reading some more of the comments. Learning to code does not teach you analytical problem solving skills or critical thinking skills or any of that mess. Those skills are necessary to be good at writing code, but saying learning to code teaches you that is

That depends. What do you want to learn and what's your learning style?

I think it's fun.

Probably learning to code, outside of just being personally interested, should be evaluated through the lenses of, "Will this help my career?" and, "Does this make me want to stab myself in the eye?"
