If my 14yo were talking about white horse and snorting, a rap contract would not be my choice in how to manage it. Her parents are absolute pieces of shit.

Without question the more talented brother. Without question.

Came here for this. Their hypocrisy is nothing short of astounding.

Yup. Only exception is when rich white women are accusing a POC, at which point they are the poor widdle wimmin who need defending by the Alpha White Males. It makes me sick.

This one gets me the most. I’m a survivor of sexual assault, and I STILL know that this is not “how men really are”. Men are many wonderful things, and to brush them in these horrific broad strokes is just disgusting.

Thank you. Even rich white women know they are still *women*, and that means they will be questioned and blamed and dragged through the mud no matter what they do in this situation.

THANK YOU

Agreed. Back when I watched Real Time, I caught her on a panel once. She seemed decent, albeit incredibly privileged, but she’s clearly riding on a name. At the time she hadn’t bothered to learn anything outside of the narrow intersection of her interest and her privilege, and it showed.

She’s a fucking superstar! I love that woman, and her whole outfit takes the night. Between her and Michelle Pfeiffer, I’m wowed by the older ladies this evening.

Hahahaha AMAZING

Oh wow, that’s dark. I could absolutely see Hell pulling that kind of shit.

Ooooh, why is the world ending this time? I’m a sucker for crackpot eschatology.

The Scotland Yard think actually made me do a spit take. Really?! Not just dumb, but completely uncaring how stupid he looks.

Agreed. On re-watches I always love the Garak/Julian banter best of all.

I really like their conclusions. It’s time for radical kindness.

THIS. Thank you.

That might be true, but this kind of commentary only adds to the nonsense that gets thrown around about C-Sections. There are assholes out there who like to say that C-sections aren’t “real” births, that they’re lazy, that they’re the sign of weakness, and on and on. It does nothing to help perpetuate that shaming

Which may be true, but it’s still remarkably insensitive to call c-sections lazy in any way. The judgement and shaming thrown around at women who have c-sections is real. It’s not remotely OK to add to that.

Yup. And may I just say, the nurses on the maternity ward in my local hospital were amazing, and part of the reason I kept my sanity in what was a crazy time - I had no idea I’d be having a surgery, and no idea how much it would add to my feelings and process of having a new baby. Thank goodness for good nurses.

PREACH. And don’t feel like shit. Your body has done and continues to do amazing fucking things. SHE should feel like shit for bringing this shaming shite to the table.
