Just for fun we should do it with the churches in the area.
They're more plentiful and it would be a lot easier to "pick and choose" to get similar results.

You know, I seem to remember a scene like that in the novella.
Everyone had found their "cliques" and there was someone talking about the "End of Days" and he had people following him, but it wasn't that was heavily touched upon in the story. I think he was there to show that people in can follow the wrong thing in

(Picking up on "Sally Kellerman")
I vaguely remember that movie (I almost remember the scene), but it wasn't Rocky and Bullwinkle, it was Boris and Natasha. Sally Kellerman played Natasha in that movie.

Hansel and Gretel: (German accent) Ach - you're mother rides a vacuum cleaner!

Just to clarify The Simpsons reference…
She did the voice of the receptionist at the Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers Babysitting Service.

<——*Remembers "New" Coke from the 80's (and the ensuing backlash)*

"Every time I think we've seen the beginning of the end of my LGBT
community being used as a political lever, some raging assholes starts
the whole thing all over again."

"The farm???"
Would you check and see if my pet turtle is all right, my parents took him there years ago - many, many years ago.

That "abomination in the 90s???"

"…it was kinda eerie how well I remembered the game when replaying it…"
I know the feeling, I like to go back and play many of my Zelda games over and I'm surprised at how much I remember from the last time I played it. Some games I haven't played in years and still remember so much from before.

Not to sound rude, but no.

(as coldly as possible one can be over the internet)
Don't talk to me!

That was also a parody and "played for laughs" and as you say "non-canon" it didn't happen for real in the actual series.

That only started with "nu who" (specifically it started in The Doctor's Wife) - and it makes me regret the show coming back at all.

She would've preferred to be called "Fred".
(see The Ribos Operation for the reference.)

Uh… you're not going to say something like "I never "felt" so alive."

I like it.
I shows that Jim Henson had faith in him and wasn't going to be bullied around by Disney.
It also sounds like his son isn't "made from the same cloth" - his comment about wishing he had fired him years ago is essentially a "slap in the face" of his father's wishes.

…if the writers actually give her good material.

I can't think of anything "wrong" with - except EVERYTHING!

Trivia note…
The Frito Bandito and Barney Rubble were voiced by the same person - Mel Blanc.
