I believe the only one is worked for was Harry Potter because of all the details.

or those taking chill selfies with a staple in their forehead.
Violent attacks are becoming a staple of current politics.
There's pretty good money in commercials and you only have to work for a day or two. I'll say whatever about cat shut for an easy money opportunity
They seemed like roommates who found each other on Craigslist and we're trying to be polite before things started getting real.
I mean, being shitty to costars is not excusable but all she said about Knocked Up was that having the male characters portrayed as fun and lovable despite being immature manchildren while the women telling them to grow up were portrayed as shrill not-fun harpies was “kind of sexist,” which is true. And then she said…
Right. They’re not bad commercials, and she’s not bad in them. The ~~optics~~ are just...bleak.
Yes! If you made me guess the ages of these women I’d think they were about the same. I think it’s some obsession with the idea of under 25, when irl you’re going to have to card them to know. I’d love to see some study, like those who swap genders of names on resumes, to swap ages for Hollywood casting. Although, I’m…
Wilde has a patrician look about her—very refined. As styled in the film, Robbie had a Barbie-ish, tacky-girl-with-new-money look that really brought that trophy wife role to life. I don’t think Wilde’s look easily lends itself to tacky...
Which, BTW, Mitchum was seriously so SO right. There was nothing about that girl that seemed interested in the world around her. Why everyone kept blowing sunshine up her ass about being a globe-trotting journalist is mystifying.
Agreed. Regardless of WHY they cast Robbie over Wilde, it was the right choice. I’m just not that convinced of Wilde’s acting chops. Robbie WAS the breakout of that movie and in hindsight really should’ve gotten a Supporting Actress nom.
Yeah! You know I remember hearing Jon Hamm had trouble getting jobs in his 20's because he just came off too old, too grown up. Probably similar. Some people just have an “adult” vibe to them.
It wasn’t Pressley’s age that took her out of the running, it was her drinking and behavior. The surest way to lose jobs is to cost more on the insurance rider. It even happens to crew members.
I agree with this. She doesn’t look old, or even 40, she just looks like a perma-grownup. Even on the O.C., when she was around 21, she looked like a full-fledged adult. She will probably also look this same age until she’s in her late forties or so.
I’m rewatching the series now with my roommate on Netflix and she had never seen it, and man is it totally different when you watch it as an adult.
Rory was the ultimate special snowflake white girl. Like when mitchum was like I don’t think you have what it takes to be a reporter and then she let her whole life spin out of control over one comment? please. If I spun out everytime a white person told she I wasn’t shit, i would never get out of bed in the morning.
To be honest, she does have this look about her that is not youthful. She doesn’t look “old”, but I think sophisticated would be the right way to describe her. It’s more like an energy that she exudes. I’m always surprised she’s less than a year older than me (I keep forgetting).
Fingerscrossed that she can still figure out a way to sneak in for a scene or two. I CAN’T BELIEVE NO ONE ASKED HER. Dummies.
To me she looks like Jamie Pressley from My Name is Earl.
I don’t think Scorsese actually said that.
