My wife and I are also around $80k per year, and we will just go buy a car some weekend... though probably barely used rather than new. (Although last time we got a new Kia Soul+ for under $16k counting tax.)

Just imagine life if your bonuses could nearly quadruple your annual salary.

I’m trying to figure out if you’re actually talking about the Toyboata on the water or if this is a weird Jeremy Clarkson news pun that I don’t know about, but I’m certainly not going to google “Jeremy Clarkson docking”

My first thought when reading this was that this person is neither transracial nor transsexual. This person is most likely just a troll.

It looks like he received a red card for leaving the field without the referee’s permission (yellow) and then reentering the field without the referee’s permission (second yellow = red). He just happened to take a piss in the process.

The rule clearly says “in the umpire’s opinion” regarding the intention of the contact. So apparently the ump ruled that Baez hit Wieters on purpose, in which case the ball is still live.

ROI, man. The kids who need medical treatment have already paid, and so the university only cares about the next kids.

He can always argue that Congress overstepped its bounds in the first place. If Congress didn’t actually have the authority to do what they did, then their opinion really doesn’t matter.

Kane missed Ambrose (I think, maybe Rollins) with a chair and hit Strowman in the back.

Neutral: I’m 32 and own a Harley (2007 Sportster 1200), though I didn’t buy it new. I like it fine, but I certainly wouldn’t have taken a loan for such a toy like a motorcycle. And Harley’s price point really pushes you toward financing.

I’ve been using the older-style Whistle on two dogs for a couple years. I live on a largely-wooded plot of 70 acres, and keeping track of my pups is so much easier now.

For instance: Cummins. They don’t (and won’t) make vehicles. But they’d love to put one of their engines into whatever you sell.

Lexus (Toyota) and BMW definitely compete for car sales.

I would expect that Hyundai sets the advertised price on the site(s). If the goal is to make the dealerships quit dicking around, the only way to enforce it is to take that power away from them.

4th gear: Level 5 autonomous cars still need brakes. Not a brake pedal, but they still need to stop.

Another instance of white-privilege-and-I-didn’t-even-know-it. I had no idea that mayo was a white people food. I thought it was an everybody food, and that’s why it was everywhere. Clearly the stars here show otherwise.

Your link shows data on individual cities rather than metropolitan areas. I couldn’t find anything on metropolitan areas either, which was disappointing, but I will concede that Chicago proper had lower violent crime rates than many other cities, including Indianapolis and Milwaukee, a few years ago.

 Uhhhhhhhhh...

Two things:

This argument doesn’t hold water. If Chicago’s violence is because it’s so close to Indiana, why isn’t there more violence in Indiana? Same for Wisconsin.
