The last 4" or so of my 2003 4runner interior dives down in front of the hatch, and it makes it so that anything loose back there is ready to fall out when I open the hatch. An apple stopper would be quite welcome!

First Gear: You seem to have forgotten to include the tagline about unions always being good.

I agree. Distributors can provide a valuable service. But when distributors are required by law, they don’t have to provide a valuable service; they can simply be a middleman to mark up the price.

Nobody is saying that distributors should be banned; they just shouldn't be required.

This one feels like the insurance company just pays out the policy limit and calls it a day.

“Tough crowd” means he intended it as a joke.

I think that the owner of a billion-dollar 747 is quite qualified to determine the competence of a potential pilot.

It’s not a particularly free market. Using licensing to limit those who are able to compete in a given profession is not a free market.

Race is the only thing we think people can learn about without talking about it. And that’s because talking about it makes white people uncomfortable.

I'm not disputing that barrel aging is a great way to finish maple syrup, but I personally think that coffee infusion is even better.

Spicy Nacho Doritos.

Taco Bell is hoping that you go to the restaurant based on the ad.

I don’t think our current system is actually difficult. The advertised price is correct at most restaurants, and anywhere it's not, you just have to look at the menu.

It’s my understanding that Taco Bell can’t actually set prices at franchised restaurants; someone else owns the restaurant.

The “loss” is just how much less GM is bringing in as revenue than would be expected/projected if the workers were still working.

The rotating pizza shelf is crap frozen pizza. Casey's pizza is actually worth eating.

Train would be great if it’s needed permanently, but it sounded to me like the purpose is just for the Olympics. Buses make a ton more sense if it’s not a route that will still be needed 30 years from now.

Imply? I meant implement.

5th Gear: If an autonomous car service is set up to run between only two locations (the airport and the business district), isn't this just the most difficult way to imply a bus service?

I would be happy to see more pale ales.

I’m just a home brewer, not a proper brewer (and I make a lot more cider than beer anyway), but balanced pale ales seem to have been forgotten.
