Those riders are going way too fast for the conditions. There is a time and a place for lane splitting, and these are the guidelines from the CA CHP. I do not mind when riders are splitting during crawling/stop and go traffic. The 10mph differential is plenty to keep them moving and not be in any real danger.

I think it would be brilliant. Closest thing to pod racing we're ever gonna get.
