yeah then how did top fuel cars get up to 335?

I doubt SRBs will ever be used for crewed flight again. Too many inherent dangers and much worse for the environment than any conventional liquid fuels.

But what’s feet-per-pound?

260ft/lb? Is that some kind of reduction in fuel range based off how much cargo you’re carrying?

Until they start launching customer payloads, that’s just private aviation.

Still? When did they start?

What was it doing that far inland? Did Canada authorize supersonic operations over the northern territories?

I believe it, and figured that’s what they were for anyway. This was in a commercial park with several distribution centers, surrounded by residential areas. There was another similar circle on the opposite side.

I’m pretty sure there’s at least one thing missing here...

Now I need to watch that video again to see if they have any utes...

You mean those cars weren’t just driving under the semis?

I try to avoid that dumpster fire. I’ve only flown out of there once in the past few years, and I seem to have blanked that experience from memory. I honestly do not remember their security perimeter at all.

Its useless anyway. Most of the time their PreV lines are closed.

I’m more surprised by the fact that they said regular pizza cutters are ok. Makes me want to buy one of these things and try to take it through security next time I’m not in a rush...

Paying, you still have to do, unless you can get your company to pay for you. Scheduling time, there’s several airports with no-appointment precheck signup. You only need to schedule if you’re getting one of the international entry permits.

I forgot a leatherman in my backpack once before heading out to work. Didn’t have enough time to pull back my checked luggage, but I did fortunately have enough time to dump it at baggage services and pick it back up three weeks later. I know a guy who sat down on the plane, felt something uncomfortable in his back

CFRP is strong, but if you want tough, you usually go kevlar. Carbon fiber isn’t flexible enough. Both of them are way too inflexible for thermoplastics to provide their own toughness, unless you intend to just put an extra inch of the stuff on top.

Nighttime flying is fraught with sensory illusion. If you’re temporarily blinded, you’ve lost your instruments, and have no way of accurately telling which way you’re traveling. If you’re banking or descending at that time, this can become very dangerous, very fast.

Not to mention that jet engines are often used as TurboShafts which inherently create rotational energy are are measured directly in HP.

Why are you linking me to pages about turboshaft engines while talking about jet engines?
