After watching the trailer and reading some of the details, I was thinking that this has some potential. Then I saw them list the director, and that optimism completely drained away.

I’m happy to see all the Rosenstock love this year, but every time I see it in a list, I can't help but think, "where was the love when Worry came out"?

I’m really hoping it’s like Civil War where they take the name and a vague premise, but go a very different direction. Retconning a bunch of characters into Skrulls could kinda work in the comics, but not so much in the movies.  They couldn't have really laid the groundwork for it.

I watched a different trailer before because it was part of the Philly Film Festival, but this one plays up the comedy even more.  Really looking forward to it.

Look, should I throw some money at this?  Probably not.  But I really loved when they were in production on Maladroit and they were releasing demos and updated recordings daily.  It was a level of access and insight into putting an album together that I’ve never seen before or since, and IT WAS COMPLETELY FREE.  Right…
