I routinely underestimate how hard this is to do for some people. My current management staff are generally ok folks, smart, successful - but every single one of them is entirely incapable of doing this 98.2% of the time even though they are worse off because of it. Simple human frailty...

I’m reasonably convinced that when folks try to monetize something they love it quickly becomes an obligation and spoils pretty much all joy you get out of it. There are rewarding professions but they remain work. I get paid for my work, I freely share my passions.

Just stock turbo with a cat back, but it will drink a lot if you want it too.  It’s my first turbo car - the much larger mileage swing is one of a few kind of interesting surprises.

That’s great really - my current car can get 30-31 mixed if i’m good, but 15-16 if I’m not...

drive conservatively to get better gas mileage

We had a 92 coupe with the 5spd in burgundy - loved it. Nice transmission, rev happy motor, good seats, plenty of room, good mileage, good ergo.

Can confirm, at least anecdotally, that turn signal usage has significantly reduced in the last 10 years or so up here. I don’t really understand it - there doesn’t seem to be any downside to using your turn signal. Even if you are a total self centered wanker you materially reduce the chance of getting hit or pulled…

don’t do it - make it a gift or nothing
