The thing is, what the Rock does best IMO is fun spectacle. Like, you think, yeah, it’s bad that there’s, I dunno, a massive invasion of rubber tree plants happening in Sheboygan, but we all know the Rock is gonna kick ass and crack jokes. I think it’s part of his charisma.

There was a script made with Black Adam in it for the first Shazam movie. The Rock lobbied, and won, for them to be separated.

Cancun Cruz warming up the jet

Ted is booking flights to Cancun as we speak. For the children.

Kevin Feige: “Let’s take a handful of relatively obscure Marvel characters, who haven’t been sold off to other studios, hire some smart and passionate filmmakers and storytellers to turn these lame-sounding comics characters into complex characters that audiences can identify with and root for.”

So much for my dreams of having him play the Rocket Racer.

But can the Sapphire set $44 billion on fire as fast as the Plaid?

Best article published to Jalopnik in years. I genuinely cannot remember an article this good in at least four years.

Amazing write-up, loved reading it. Idk anything about their plant but our auto plants 1st shift starts at 6am and takes lunch at 10am, even then there’s still plenty of employees in the building eating at break areas and such, so I’d say your right on the money for the lack of employees.

This is easily the most interesting Jalopnik article of the year.

I’m now expecting a lawsuit filed against Jalopnik by Vinlawyers and for this article to be pulled. Also, Kevin better be looking over his shoulder for the VinMercs.

Baby? You called the PR guy “Baby”?

“I lease my batteries ten seconds or less at a time.”

It’s all about “family.”

(And if there were still COTD, you win.)

Vingroup has businesses all over Vietnam. You might buy groceries at VinMart and clothing at VinPlaza.

When I visited Vietnam in 1993, you landed, and were suddenly informed that your visa needed two pictures, and if you didn’t happen to have them, you could conveniently have them taken right there for $10 US.

Then again, my most expensive meal in 2 weeks, was $6. I’m guessing that’s changed.

Hey Jalopnik! More articles like this.

This VinCompany VinSucks. If I was VinSubjected to their VinBranding every VinDay I’d VinKillMyself

I think you were doing your trip wrong. You should have spent 90% of your energy on the trip itself - scenery, food, entertainment, and etc. Then loosely focus the remaining 10% on those cars.

Very interesting article. The craziest part to me is the price. at $30k, the low slow speed and ride quality might be excusable. But at $70k+, you’re competing with Teslas, Base Taycans, Mach-E GTs, and other very impressive cars
