Is the game also being sold through the eStore?
my 2 cents.. they are the most reasonable priced gamnes on the eshop.. as someone who is skeptical on buying digital, i will always get big nintendo title in physical form so i can transfer /sell, change account name, and still have the game.. if i were to buy a digital game, it would be the last choice, and for most…
Every time I see it I get sick. It’s such a design mess. I look at it and just skip it completely.
I have never understood a Life in Aggro. Lol’d @ Gamercat and Nerfnow.
Oh NO this ruins everything! This means the original will stop existing!!! I will be forced to pay money to go see this and I will hate it! I HATE THIS WORLD!!
Are you kidding me? Video game revenues are at record levels and micro transactions and DLC are billions of dollars in profit each year. There is no justification that works on this game. It’s one of their best selling titles and it comes out every year they aren’t strapped for cash.
Jason, I’ve been reading your book, and it’s clear that a big part of game development involves deception. I’m sure developers consider it a necessary evil since they are constantly trying to get funding for their current and future projects, but they put no small amount of effort into spectacular (but unrealistic)…
See, this is the difference between just translation and a localization. That joke would have gone over everyone’s heads. Even otaku, since most anime fans aren’t Japanese sports team fans. Anime jokes? Sure, keep ‘em in. But reaching out of ones demo? Find a local equivalent. The spirit of the joke is still 100%…
My uncle works for Nintendo.
Nah, copyright striking as a knee-jerk to exploit Youtube’s bad automated reporting systems when it’s all kosher under Fair Use is not an excuse and is ‘scary’. If you genuinely think the devs are justified in their particular choice of action, I feel you don’t fully understand what it is they are doing.
Where are the tweets actually defending him, for the sake of fairness?
Why are we not criticising other youtubers, especially the black ones who use the n bomb way more often than everyone else? Cause they are black?
I disagree with you on their rights to file a DMCA. Pewd had permission to post the video and didn’t break any copyright laws so the dev. has no right to file a DMCA claim against an old video. The developer can prevent Pewdiepie from posting future videos based on their games but you can’t retroactively remove that…
Pewdiepie’s stream is not their property, so it is abuse of the DMCA.
I’m going to come out and admit that I use the N-Word as the penultimate swear word when I’m alone with my own thoughts.. It is literally the worst word you can say as a white guy so it’s that much more cathartic to say when you’re pissed.
Pewdiepie is a racist but abusers of the DMCA should fuck off.
Having the sick impulse to call the cops, from the site of one of the worst flood disasters in American history, to report victims of that flood for looting a supermarket; but also: a crime
I hope we all see the irony in someone winning a “For Honor” competition in a strikingly dishonorable fashion. Not just the exploit but that after winning he shot off a “wow this was so easy, I didn’t even practice,” line. Honestly I’m half inclined to think it was intentional.
Does competitive Mario Kart remove items/fun from the game like competitive Smash?
If you want to make a game in 2017 it better be either
A. A card game
B. Team based shooter with MOBA elements
C. A Souls clone
This is getting old.
