She can move while shooting or enter free-aim mode (by holding L iirc) to stay in one place and move her arm around to aim in any direction.

In fairness, that was 1991.

Nope

Holy shit shut up.

As long as the mods are cosmetic only, I’m fine with this. Especially if anyone can opt out easily.

Console makers should do more to keep history alive and in print, and allow players to have legal access to as many games as is feasible on modern-day hardware

Would it be good for Smash as an e-sport if Nintendo pushed it? Maybe. Probably. Nintendo has no experience with e-sports though. They are obsessively controlling of their properties, though. If they really dove in to the smash pro scene I think the current smash scene would be scrapped. It would be transformed into

Helicopter parenting is bad and you can’t shelter them from bad stuff in the world too much but I feel like “I don’t want my children interacting with a known serial killer” is a fairly reasonable request?

Be sure to come back once you’ve played the game and realize how dumb this comment was!

Ugh yet another commenter who feels the need to give us their contrarian take. Why don’t you try getting an actual writing gig on a game website if you think your opinion is so valuable? ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)

Alternate perspective: I didn’t love the last act, but I didn’t feel nearly as strongly about it. The operators were annoying, but manageable. I do wish Dahl’s arrival had been as cool and well executed as “We’ve got hostiles” from the first Half-Life, which seemed like a clear inspiration. But I still wouldn’t advise

The most depressing part is how he has to explain that his own personal belief against giving thieves something for free, BECAUSE THEY ARE THIEVES has to be ‘justified’ with “well, I don’t need my code tied to pirated code and breaking licenses”

I was actually following this on the Steam forum for Automata last night (and part of this morning; there are a couple of people who got into it with Kaldaien that are still crowing about his ban/soothing their individually savaged egos--Kaldaien can field a pretty scorching argument when the mood strikes), and was

Kotaku has never broken a Bethesda embargo. We were blacklisted for reporting on information that was leaked to us, not information that was under embargo. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about, so why even comment?

I can’t make games happen — I can only delay them.

So this is something that is considered so rare it deservers a video highlight??? It happens to me every fucking day in this game. Is my luck just really that bad?

The change to his hat still bugs me. He made such a big deal about how the one he had originally was so special, that he couldn’t lose it because it was a rare piece of Pokemon paraphernalia, then his mom buys him some new clothes and he tosses it aside like none of that mattered.
