If you’re serious about getting one built for you, there are a bunch of us that would be happy to help!

Apparently I’m even more sadistic than you... Hand-wired my first custom board... PCB be damned. I had a lot of ... fun?? ... learning everything I could about it and there are tremendously helpful people in the world that are willing to help troubleshoot all the issues with you...

I set one of these up for my boss at his house and he and his wife have never been happier. They love the setup.

It’s sold out or they caught it.

It may be the sentimental getting a hold of me, but I learned to drive a stick in one of these that my step-dad had. He’d already had to have the clutch replaced prior to teaching me, so he didn’t care nearly as much and learning to drive stick in this definitely has the memories built right in. NP all day as we

Theyre good assuming you’re not completely beating on them. I’ve got 4 Invictas (3 are automatic movements) that are great. I’ve got them on a winder and they are still working perfectly almost 5 years after purchase.

David, you should ask Bob about his affectionately named “Parade Queen”. The one he used to bring to the Frenzies and leave on the trailer!!! If its the same Bob, he is a stand up guy and a great guy to have around when you work on Jeeps!!!

Our first Jeep project looked like that and was eventually scrapped for one that was a little more running and driving. We ended up with 2 spare rebuilt engines in the garage and now, 3 Flat Fenders later, we have it down to a science!!! What I’m trying to say is keep going and love it... those beasts will love you

I’ve been offered a position twice in the last 2 years and both times they’ve requested references. Luckily, I’ve had them at the ready and available to provide them, but its a stressful situation.

I only need about 2.5 gallons to sous vide anything... bonus is that then I have hot water to clean the other kettles :D. Waste not, want not!

In my boil kettle... err sous vide pot (it doubles for homebrew!!) I have a plate with holes (to keep things from sticking to the heating element) so I just ziptie through the top of the bag, being careful to not puncture the seal :D

This is exactly how I use mine :) electric brewery with a cloud-based temp controller... so easy. I’d be worried about the boiling temp needed to kill all the non-fun bacteria that would make a funky beer.

As someone whose electric homebrew setup doubles as a sous vide machine, I’d be curious what you’re trying to accomplish with the beer one.

I happen to use Apps Launcher which is an icon in my Chrome rather than going to the apps site. It’s not quite the same as having it open, but it makes getting there just a dropdown next to the address bar for me.

I was completely thunderstruck by the idea of a 2011 mustang going that fast!

Ahhh. We were able to scrape together 2 Flatheads from the 8 we found for “free”. Took them to an engine shop and they were able to scavenge parts so it cost us very little. I think this is the fun with these old jeeps, finding parts and figuring out a way to get them going again. 3 carb rebuilds later, our 47 just
