Texas liberal here. I think you would be surprised by how many liberals are in Texas. According to this poll from Gallup, late last year, liberals are competitive in numbers with conservatives. While rural areas tend be red, the majority of the metropolitan areas lean more blue.

I totally agree about Signs. That is my biggest issue with that stupid movie. I thought the movie was great up to that point, but between that and the divine intervention shit, the movie was ruined for me.

How is it a plot hole? What question is the article posing? I don’t see where it asks a question. Where does it say that no one would know what happens if they jump towards/through another ship?

The funny thing about this enormous thread is that the appearance of Rachel has nowhere near the impact of any of the events from these other movies. Her being in the movie has so little to do with the overall plot. Just knowing she appears is not a spoiler.

I loved this episode and I agree with every point made here. I just wish they would have split this story up along the last few episodes, instead of doing a bottle episode that completely threw off the pacing of the rest of the show.

I see several people have already mentioned The Thing so I’m going with another The movie and throwing The Fly out there as a great remake.
