The comics often explain that loud noises bother him, but I don't think they've ever discussed gun shots at all.

Nyssa is obviously upset about it, but I would imagine most of them would never have a chance anyway, and know it. I mean, heck - we saw him kill a bunch of them for practice.
Nowadays, it feels like both comics companies are doing "dark and gritty" - but unlike the Nolan movies, everything has to be a tragedy as well.
He's mentioned the prophecy. That's sufficient for me to understand why he's so insistent. Plus the "I always get my way and have for the last few hundred years" thing.
Definitely a big deal. Although I'm more interested in the fact that Ray brought up feeding the prisoners as soon as he saw it. Also, I'm trying to remember - was it also Ray that brought up Flash metabolizing food really quickly, and how that all works?
Did you see the preview for next week's episode?
But, I did put S3 of Torchwood on hold, so we'll see what happens
It seems to me that if it's just internal rules - if he didn't risk all of time and space by saving people - then he's a sociopath. He could have saved thousands of people, but chose not to, for apparently no reason other than whim.
Torchwood might be a good idea. I like Barrowman's work in Arrow, and a short, self-contained storyline seems like a good starting point.
I was going to suggest that maybe the episodes I had watched had all been in the Matt Smith run, but I did a bit of research, and that's not the case. The first episode I ever saw had Eccleston, and I've seen at least one Tenant episode, and didn't like either of them.
The "girl he loves" thing is playing out for too long, although part of that might be because this is the CW. Have to meet the "Pretty people with relationship drama" quota.
Guardians of Some Other Galaxy?
Matt's dad was (I believe) fairly old for a boxer. His opponent might have been much younger, however.
I've never really bought into the "comic shows/movies won't be as good" line, but I don't watch as much TV or movies as a lot of other people, so I'm sometimes a bit more forgiving about things than others are because I haven't seen it a million times before.
It would be fun, but I'm not sure it would fit tonally with the rest of this show. On the other hand, if Matt Murdock had an appearance as a lawyer in another show/movie, and this happened, I would love it
No, but they did have a Spider-girl, Spider-Woman (or three), Arana, Tarantula, and Black Tarantula (I believe those are two different characters, but could be wrong).
You may be right. The parallels between Foggy and Wesley are much less obvious to me than the ones between Matt and Wilson, and seem more speculative.
I don't remember what exactly he said. Either way, I'm pretty sure that, for purposes of this conversation, he explicitly stated that it was his assistant who chose the wine after saying he wouldn't lie to her
Exactly my point. Hence the "if they nailed everything… (but they haven't come close)…".
It kinda did to me too, but I was able to rationalize it. Like I said, it may have been important to him to seem like he died at DD's hand in a fight
