SHIELD is the worst of the super hero shows, not counting Gotham (which I forgot about after the first break, and never got around to going back to - and arguably isn't a super hero show anyway.) Frankly, almost all the hype I've seen about it is "It's not as bad as it used to be!", which isn't exactly a rave review.

Yeah, the nose looked weird to me.

I've watched the whole series, so my timeline on events may be a bit off (but I don't think this really counts as a spoiler). Fisk promises Vanessa that he'll be completely honest with her, and then continues to credit Wesley for choosing the wine. Plus, cooking one nice (but easy) thing, and doing it well is often a

I definitely saw the parallels between Fisk and Murdock, but didn't really get them between Wesley and Foggy. Mostly because I see Foggy as being pretty good at the one thing he does (being a lawyer), and not much else, while Wesley is someone I could see stepping in if Fisk went down. He's multi-lingual, he's

I agree and disagree. I think that restricting themselves has limited them at times, but I also feel that a lot of these movies haven't needed to be more than PG-13 (and a lot of them certainly haven't been neutered)

It wasn't necessarily about dying, so much as dying quickly

Is sticking his head in the oven really any better, from the perspective of someone dying that way?

Oh, sure. It could be done better. But if they nailed everything but the romance plots (they haven't come close), then I would be willing to forgive them for having it forced on them.

Yeah, I understand. Sometimes people decide to give shows another chance if they hear others' reactions to it. And sometimes I've gotten into interesting conversations about why someone doesn't like a show I like

Ah, that makes sense.

People often don't think of backing things up to multiple locations. Plus, if you send something out, that's irreversible. If you later have the ability to send out something you have stored on email/phone, it seems likely that you would also be able to send out something on a thumb drive

While I agree more emphasis could have been made on financially helping people, I think there's only so much you can expect of that in a 3 hour action movie.

Daredevil may be better at the gritty stuff than the Nolan trilogy, but I think a lot of that is because they don't have to keep things PG-13. And because they can take a few of the things that Nolan already did.

It may depend on blind-from-birth VS blinded later in life (or other factors)

Or maybe Dr. Mid-Nite?

SORT-OF SPOILER
I watched the whole thing before reading the review, so I may be misremembering, but I think it all ties together. I don't remember any cases of the week

It's kind of weird. This show is like 95% on point, and then it will just randomly throw in a clunky line, or part of a fight scene that's a bit off, or whatever.

I actually hate Simmons being the sneakiest member of the team. Normally I'd love it, but it's so completely out of character for her.

I agree and disagree. There's no excuse for some of the bad decisions and writing that have occurred.

It's very different from Flash or AoS, but there are obvious similarities with Arrow (both thematically, and some plot points), and a lot of the things DD got right seemed to have been them learning from Arrow's mistakes.
