Wait, did you just lump Agent Carter in with Agents of SHIELD?!?!?
Wait, did you just lump Agent Carter in with Agents of SHIELD?!?!?
I really wanted to watch Agents of SHIELD. I still watch it every week, and I still enjoy it. But there are so many things that have irritated the heck out of me. Rampant stupidity by characters that should know better, plot holes, some boring episodes, killing off a character that had almost no emotional impact on me…
Mr Fear, Mr Hyde, Typhoid Mary… Stilt-man… =)
That storyline occurred before I was born, but from what I've read online and some of the stories I read from back then, Bullseye was a legit threat until a tumor (and being defeated repeatedly by DD/Kingpin) drove him insane, when he became a bit of an ongoing joke.
Maybe he's enough of a peripheral character, they can just assume that almost nobody knows it
Arrow at its best is better than Daredevil at its best, but Daredevil is WAY more consistently good. Arrow has a lot of cringe-worthy moments
This show might have an unfair advantage, in that it has a lot more screen-time to develop the corruption.
Also? Baseball.
Daredevil's enhanced senses as a lie detector is a very important part of canon, so they're kinda stuck.
It's a super hero show. Everyone knows there's going to be fight scenes.
I'd have to rewatch it to be sure, but my impression was that the assumptions she made dictated what happened. First she thought it was an error, then she thought it was maybe one guy embezzling. Her mind didn't leap to "multiple international crime cartels"
I agree that AoS hasn't been that great (although it may be getting better). And Arrow can't decide if it's going to be good or bad. But Flash and Agent Carter are/were both quite good.
He's listed as an Executive Producer in the credits, in a manner that seems to suggest a key role (but that might just be Recognizable Names get Emphasized syndrome)
That and the fact that Robbie almost never has facial hair
That little smile on her face, when she said it…
You completely missed the boat here. Sherlock criticized the 'think tank' for twisting the truth. He even specifically said "I despise you and people of your ilk on both sides of the aisle".
I may be putting too much of it on the writers. I feel like they've been very hit-or-miss for the entire show's run. I've been irritated by almost every character at one point, and while sometimes it was the acting, often it was poor writing.
What hypothesis are you talking about? The hypothesis that the building can hold a Hulk? That Hulk is significantly stronger than a battering ram?
That's fair. Although many people would argue that she's a lot better now than she was before. A lot of the problems with her scenes had nothing to do with the actress, and more to do with the writers.
I liked the episode, but one part really bugged me. If a cabin was specifically designed to withstand a Hulk, there's no way a battering ram would break in within an hour.
