And I'm afraid for the Gilmore Girls next week.
And I'm afraid for the Gilmore Girls next week.
You speak to my soul. RDR MP was my go-to. There was just so much to do, and so many ways to just dick around if you got tired raiding hideouts or whatever. I recall when I first got the game - and I got it the day it came out - I was relatively new to console multiplayer. We had only had high speed internet about 6…
Yeah, I can remember riding and randomly hitting a beautiful sunset, or getting caught in a rainstorm. The game was so ahead of its time. Even in 2010.
RDR is great, and I understand the single player looks awesome on the XBone. I was obsessed with the multiplayer on PS3 when the game came out, and played it and nearly only it for about 15-16 months. I have thought about getting this on the XBone, and I still might, but I have heard the MP is glitchy and buggy and…
President Macho Gamacho.
Yeah, no multiples. Two "good problem" kind of issues later on. They have different strengths and abilities, so it gets hard to choose who you want with you sometime - it's hard to switch. I also forget where I send them when I do switch, so if I want to have one with me, I have to settlement hop.
THAT! I love the quotes they pull for him to read with every advance. I mean, he's got quotes from Plato and Napoleon and other historical figures, but then he read quotes from Monty Python, Adam Savage, Kevin Bacon. It's funny but really smooth with his narration.
I threw out a comment in the last post that I hoped we would get Total Recall. Total Recall is a weird but fun one.
Yeah, Watch Dogs kind of grows on you. It gets really fun when you get hacked by another person though.
Sleeping Dogs is a lot more fun than it gets credit for. It's basically a GTA clone, but it is crazy fun.
It does make me want to see a game in Fenway park though.
I never even understood why they have it as Chicago? It's some alternate reality Chicago.
Yeah, I was going to play Civ VI last night, but then the patch started downloading and I just went to bed. Big ass patch, didn't realize that was happening now.
Oo oo oo oo, we are getting Pokémon Sun as a reward for some school performance for my 12 year old today. Amazon hoorah. He's been counting down every day this week on it.
Civilization VI with the occasional BF4 chaser. I feel like I've gotten a handle on some of the new city planning aspects of the game and find that I am actually really enjoying the district planning aspect. I'm maybe 17-18 hours into the game and find it more fun than I thought it would given some of the changes. It…
YES! The poker game is ridiculously fun.
Yeah, you can see the end with John coming, but even so, it is one of the few times a video game actually broke my heart a bit. Yeah, the very end with Jack is kind of empty. But it's kind of part of the theme of the single player. Life sucks, hope drives you mad, and revenge is meaningless.
Companions are pretty useful, but they can get overwhelmed and literally shut down. I am always amused by the murderous gusto of Codsworth's assistance. There are lots of good ones to come.
Amen brother.
I know, that corn chex thing has got my wheels turnin.
