I’m pretty sure most plans don’t restrict data, they restrict the speed at which you get it. I know with my plan if I go over 1TB in data I can still get data, just much slower, painfully slower.

Actually it was the politicians that set this up years ago. The idea was to make it so that companies would make the huge investments needed to bring high-speed Internet to the masses. By limiting competition in most every geography it was supposed to get companies to invest in the infrastructure needed. The problem

I can’t speak for everyone, only myself, but I am getting the speeds I pay for. In fact I am getting better speeds than I pay for at the moment. No one ever guaranteed me unlimited bandwidth, only unlimited data, which I get.

Everyone may not be in the same boat as me but this is where I believe competition would

how more and more Americans need stable, high-speed internet for teleworking

I agree with the metered use. People don’t want that, however. They want free-shit because they feel they are entitled to it. Personally I wish we had more competition so we could get cheaper, faster and higher data limits connections. Until that happens expect limitations.

Since you were the one who brought up Universal Health care I guess you’re the dipshit troll. So let me get this right, in those countries with socialized medicine he would have seen a doctor and still would have died. Hmm, that just sounds great.

Very nice. So why don’t you explain it to me instead of wasting my time with your insults which only shows your true self and inability to have any sort of intelligent debate? Hmm?

That Universal healthcare is working wonders in Italy, Spain, France and the UK, all of which have higher mortality rates than the US, right?

Here’s your death panel Mr. Liberal

This is what every Democrat believes and yet is patently false. Obamacare is still in effect, why couldn’t this young man get insurance? If he couldn’t afford it he could have gotten subsidies or Medicaid. Don’t blame Republicans for shitty Obamacare, not a one of them voted for it.

Do you live in the US? If so, I’m not understanding why you couldn’t get insurance. Obamacare did away with pre-existing condition clauses.

Not true in the US.

They didn’t bug me at all. In fact they upgraded my TV box to an Xfinity capable device but never said a word about my modem. In regards to the TV box, I’ve had Xfinity service for a couple of years and they never bothered to upgrade the multiple devices in my home.

I was once a big fan of Comcast and overall the

Based on my math 7 years of $14/mo is $1,176. I’m not so sure you couldn’t have bought modems for that amount of money. I just bought a modem capable of 2Gbps for $185. I could get 6 modems for $1,176.

Doesn’t it seem a bit unethical to sign you up for a plan that the equipment doesn’t support? It wasn’t that hard to find a compatible modem, install it, call Comcast and have it activated. I’d rather save the $14/mo for Netflix of Disney+

And you think Comcast is going to drop everything and rush out to your house to figure out why? Thing is, if they buy a compatible modem Comcast will configure it for you over the phone. Once it’s working it’s doubtful that it will only partially work. It will likely just die, but not slow down.

I’ll tell you why I don’t agree. Recently I was having issues with my Internet performance. It was pathetically slow such that it was noticeable when surfing the web. Everything was working but the speeds were terrible. I called them and that’s when they informed me that the modem I had was old and would not support

Well given that they told me the modem was compatible and given that I can prove the modem is operational then I have no doubt they will come and investigate why my service isn’t working.

If you can’t prove the device is operational then sure, you need to get that working first.

You make me laugh. Then again clowns make me laugh too. Have fun money man.

Why, are you unable to figure it out for yourself? Sorry but I’m not going to do your home work for you. I can see you have little to offer here other than personal insults. Typical.
