There are pros and cons to being self employed. Yes, you may have to pay the other half of your Soc Sec tax, on the other hand you get to deduct all your business related expenses as a contractor. If you work for someone else you can’t deduct your car use or maintenance but as a self-employed person you can (assuming

Fuck you asshole, you’re the one spouting off false info. Leftist groups have been violent for years and have “legitimately” killed people. So take your lies and shove ‘em where the sun don’t shine.

You need to do some more home work.

We’ve been using knives, books, and wine bottles for centuries and the way they’re designed hasn’t significantly changed...

Because it would cost billions to monitor “everyone’s” data. Why should a credit service company be responsible for all of your data, other than what they maintain? Why don’t you monitor your data yourself? I mean if it’s that easy and wouldn’t cost anything it seems like you could do it on your own. Except that it’s

I still see autoplay videos on the right hand panel. The volume is muted, though I’m not sure if that’s Chrome doing that or it’s muted by default.

I’m not really sure this is Hulu’s fault. I’ve noticed on broadcast TV that often times the ads are louder than the show I’m watching. Hulu probably doesn’t have the authority to modify the ads so I’m not sure how they would adjust the volume.

I don’t know enough about how the service is deployed from one country to the next. I would imagine that most of the hardware is US based at this time but they may have systems in Canada as well. Depending on the provider you could have a relatively straight shot to the NVidia servers or the feed could hop all over

Every hotel can be different in terms of quality of Internet. When I used to travel a lot it was usually with the World-Wide sales force of a company like Dell or HP and with 1000-2000 in the hotel, all using the WiFi and Internet, it generally didn’t work well. Certainly not enough for game streaming.

That’s what the author stated. She had issues when running off a Macbook. Not sure that was a service problem or a problem with her Macbook or what.

I don’t think it’s a “preconceived” notion. Frankly I had no idea there was a wild-animal market in China until this broke out.

LOL, you’re so funny. I’ll compare my bank account to yours any day. Keep blaming and shaming my friend, you’re really good at it.

Thank you for that. It adds so much to the discussion

I think Nvidia is on the right track with selling this as a service and not try to capture and lock-in people by selling games only for their service (looking at you Stadia).

And you’re so pathetic that you can’t offer a rebuttal, only insults. Best of luck to you, you’re going to need it because all you can do is sit around and dream up excuses why you’re such a failure while the rest of us go out and try to do better. You’re a shining example of Generation BASEBY.

Imagine that a young man named Elon started a company with his brother and sold that company for $300M and now has the funds to invest in developing new technologies. Imagine another young man named Zuckerberg who is 35 and worth Billions. Sorry, don’t give me your sad excuses. Here’s some examples you may want to try

You are missing the point. I don’t know if Amazon is doing everything they can or not. They claim they will be carbon neutral by 2040 whereas many countries and other large companies are only committed to 2050. Comparing Amazon to Microsoft is not even close to being a reasonable comparison. Microsoft doesn’t have

Not sure that I said anything about cost cutting. I’m just saying that a company that has a retail business which involves warehouses and delivery trucks is vastly different than a company that doesn’t have that sort of infrastructure.

I think I ketch the drift of what you’re saying.

It’s perfectly relevant. Do your homework and stop being so predisposed to hate Amazon or any company.
