Wow, you’re really reaching back in time for that one. I had to look it up. LOL

Well I’m sure there are some “union” employees though I suspect that building workers are contractors, possibly working for a service company, and not direct Amazon employees.

So it’s OK to use her privileged to break the law? A law that any other black person would be arrested for. That’s what you’re saying?

I agree the report wasn’t meant for the public, although if you consider that the “government” is the “people”, but I digress.

Yea, I was just looking for filing a false police report. And as someone else noted, arrest are infrequent.

I can’t speak to the percentages, but you’re most likely right that the arrest are infrequent. The funny thing about the gal from Duke is she wound up getting scholarships and getting a college degree. I heard she’s putting out a book. If I were a Duke Lacrosse player I’d have my lawyer teed up for a civil suit.

You nailed it. The movie was crap and that’s an insult to crap.

Not to be pedantic but here’s 2 stories that might change your mind about who will or won’t get charged. (PS - what ever happened to the gal who accused the Duke Lacrosse team?)

I felt the story had “issues” from the beginning, yes that is true. And I explained why I felt his story had issues which had nothing to do with race or sexual orientation.

While all that is true, investigators (according to this article) are claiming the brothers are no longer suspects.

I’m pretty sure I didn’t come in here throwing any racial slurs or any kind of slurs around. You know as well as I do that some people didn’t believe him because he was black or gay, but other people did believe him because he was black and gay. And there were people throwing all kinds of racial slurs at people who

I am a little surprised they have let the 2 brothers go. Seems as if they were in on it. Maybe they copped a plea in order for telling the whole story?

If Jussie had a been a gay white man.....

That’s true. Not sure why the GJ is being convened but it could still have something to do with the letter. That could also be illegal in the State of Illinois.

I can’t speak for anyone else but I see issues on both sides. First, people jumped on the disbelievers calling them racist for not believing the story. I saw lots of people ignoring or rationalizing the story to fit the outcome they expected. I think it’s just as biased to unconditionally believe Jussie’s story simply

I think the grand jury is going to hear about the letter that was sent to the set of Empire with white powder (aspirin) and a threatening note to Jussie. If he sent the letter he’s in trouble with the Feds not necessarily CPD.

I doubt that. Seattle and it’s surrounding areas are heavily unionized. Plus these are HQ jobs which are generally not unionized to begin with.

Possibly, though I do know that some companies gave raises and/or bonuses to the employees, not just executives. A tax break can be used for many things, it depends on the business and the type of tax break being offered.

My Google search “jussie smollett claims white men” turned up the following (and there were more links than this):

Well to be fair, I did some some people on other threads going WTF Jussie. But as you noted, some of the more vocal and condescending posters have vanished.
