The problem is that when you don't try to insert some message, the film still has a message, because the things you write about and how you write them inevitably reflect how you see the world.

It's always weird to me when people complain about a certain type of riff. Like, there's about 30 jokes per minute. How can there possibly be enough of one sort of joke to annoy you for more than the two seconds it takes for the next one to happen?
