Eh, with each subsequent appearance she just seems like that Delta in undergrad that would smile in my face, and then privately rage to her sorors when they found out I bent over some Kappa or Que they were into. Definitely projecting, but cannot quite place my distrust for her. I’d like for her to prove me wrong.

Lol.. I find her fascinating despite the naked political contradictions she represents: how could you scold black men about their “unsolicited opinions” and misogyny yet go about supporting, promoting, and hailing a white man with a reputation for being creepy towards women, and pretty much not taking black women

I know that it can always be the power of editing, but Jesus Christ those responses from Herrera. I legitimately burst out laughing a few times due to their sheer audacity.

This was an ouch. And I think a way that a lot of women and queer folk from minority and immigrant backgrounds feel. Does anyone have any stories of finding their place? It’s something I’m really working on right now.

To me, it is very telling that the best Herrera could offer to Jezebel was an email response. He is trying to duck this by copping out with an email, and doing a very poor job of it. In his email, he writes that he “would never try to reduce the significance of my Remezcla co-founders or their contributions down to a

The answer may surprise you ... but probably not. It’s Meghan McCain.

If McCain can’t tell the difference between a statue honoring someone and a comedic role in a movie she’s either deliberately trying provide cover for racists or she’s clinically brain dead.

Who sits around and worries that they may not be able to catch a re-run of “Night at the Museum”?

Damn.

Yeah, same. It’s just...ugh...

If Lea Michele was that shitty even as a kid, you gotta wonder what her own childhood was like, what kind godawful stage parents she had. Not excusing her apparently lifelong mean girl behaviour, just curious re: her upbringing.

“You tell me” is pretty much the closest thing to /s in the spoken word.

I could be unfairly giving Ellen Pompeo the benefit of the doubt here, but it seems to me that she specifically posted this to call out the racism and hypocrisy of having excess police presence/militarization at a protest about black people dying due to racism and excessive police force. This seems like an

Either the author isn’t fluent in Sarcasm, or they have some kind of other issue with Pompeo.

I feel like it was pretty clear that Ellen’s question was rhetorical...

Simon Cowell seems toxic in every way. Hard pass. GU is a delight.

True.  He could have gone all Reese Witherspoon about this, but instead he sounds more like someone who is fishing for a senior citizen discount.

It’s somewhat refreshing that he asked for, rather than demanded, special treatment, and (apparently) didn’t make a fuss when the answer was “no.”
