That’s exactly what he’s doing. Whatever majority he has will be razor thin.  Trump isn’t going to sign a thing the Dems push through Congress, so why worry about GOP filibusters?

Are you guys seriously not realizing that he’d be raising the filibuster when there’s Republican President? And that literally the Senate majority can change the rules whenever they want?

Yeah. This guy has unapologetically been one of the worst human beings alive for some time now. He’s got a lot of company in Congress, but he is really special.

Collins is my senator. Don’t hold your breath; Sellout Susie does. not. care.

Fox News happened.  Your friend has been brainwashed.  Sorry.

I know. It makes Splinter look like Breitbart. ::retreat into daily thoughts wondering why I keep coming to this site::

I would really, really, really like if we stopped calling Republicans acting exactly like they always do “meltdowns.”

Leave it to a very, very small-brained hater and loser Dem to quote the fat guy from Swingers when the post was about the creator of Beavis and Butthead.

Gotta love Toobin’s rhetorical deftness, which somehow got Caputo to nod in agreement that Trump and Republicans writ large support rapists.

Right now, Trump has over a 60% approval rating in West Virginia. That gives you a pretty good indication on how West Virginia voters think.

The hope is that progressive votes won’t be a one-time thing (for once) and that they can keep the momentum into 2020 primaries, and push more blue states further left to counter those “red state Democrats.”

So, not only that but, y’know, we have some data on this specific thing too...

It’s a big tent.

What they do almost certainly depends on whether any Republicans break ranks. If not, they will probably vote for him, as it avoids a potential line of attack in dead heat of a race. But if no Republican breaks ranks, a Democratic Senator is almost certainly not going to be the one to push him across the line.

I think the league is fine with losing a few defensive players if it means keeping marquee quarterbacks playing.

Please shut up with this morose, hopeless bullshit.

I don’t think MLB handled this correctly but I am very interested on any ideas on what they could have done differently.

But not only does MLB want you to believe it was actively investigating this entire time and just forgot to update anyone about any of it
