I think they’ve admitted that they actively avoid showing the wolves too much because of the Uncanny Valley. Viewers know what real life wolves look like, so it’s more jarring than the dragons.

If the Targaryens had somehow won Robert Rebellion’s but Rhaegar, his two older children, and Viserys had all died, and Dany was claiming the throne after Aerys’s death, then yes, Jon would have the better claim to the throne. But the line of succession was broken when Robert took the throne.

If real historical

If you want to get technical, Jon’s not in line for shit. The line of succession was broken with Robert’s Rebellion and now it’s a matter of might makes right.

  • Danny is still no mad queen, but she is inches away. Still great assist!

The only gripe I have is that I think more characters could have died. For sure I think it would have been appropriate to have Brieanne (sp?) die. She kind of had her life long dream of becoming a knight fulfilled and there doesn’t seem to be anything for her character, story wise, on the other side of this battle.

But I’m pretty sure Martin has said a main theme of the prophecies is whether or not they’re real and the characters are just pawns of fate, or they’re meaningless and we control our own destinies.

Magic is very much real in the ASoIaF/GoT universe but prophecies and Gods may just be ways of explaining that magic.

I don’t think they would makeup the story about the DPRK asking for money because, when this happened, the right wing story was “Trump tough, bring Otto home. Obama weak. Kim respect Trump” Just agreeing to pay $2 million to bring him home hurts (if not kills) that narrative.

500 Day of Alexandria is a right wing troll. Please, don’t risk bringing them out of the greys by responding. That’s what they want, to get a reaction.

I don’t believe it because everyone knows that if Lucas was a sock puppet, he would just have ILM remake him as a crude computer animated puppet that looks outdated six months after it debuts.

They’re probably going to put a CGI Dewback in background of that famous Pam Grier Jet cover.

If you makes you feel better, I have a friend whose boyfriend was Cyndi Lauper’s makeup artist (until she had to let him go because his drug habit got out of control) and that friend has confirmed that she’s a genuinely sweet person, so she probably just didn’t know that “the handicaps” wasn’t the PC term.

But stunned to see women our age, 30s, there with no children at all.

There’s supposedly a male couple this season, or whatever this is (they’re calling it Season 2 but while promoting the show during it’s premiere, the voice actors said things that happen this season were a part of Season 1 - the male couple specifically - so it sounds like Netflix just split the full season in two).

As best I can tell, the show “Goddess” is about 11 minutes long and has 3 scenes, “Primordial Ooze” in which the dancers are frolicking amongst the volcanic still-forming earth, their Goddess joins them, does a cool solo dance for 30 seconds, then they do some simulated sex dancing for another 30 seconds to end the

Yeah, this was the very early Graham Norton days so probably over 15 years ago. I don’t know how he feels about Showgirls now but, at the time, it feels like Gina Gershon was the only one who was proud of it. Which makes sense because she’s supposedly the only one who knew what it was going to be.

Kyle [MacLachlan] said it was a drama and, “We were playing the whole film for drama and if anyone tells you differently, they’re lying.”

If you’re going to pull the “In gay culture...” card in a Drag Race comment section, you’re setting yourself up for someone to give you the “Do not cite the Deep Magic to me, witch...” line.

I grew up in a family of Southern Baptists, as in my father and one uncle were the only two of his six brothers who weren’t Pastors, I’ve never once heard anyone say “Not today, Satan.

Not that I don’t doubt Bianca got it from somewhere, but it was probably a situation where someone said it in earnest and she found it

Ah cool. I know Skeeter Davis turned it down and it was made into a movie starring Barbara Eden.

Several of Brooke’s jokes were stolen. The “Isn’t she precious?” joke was one Mimi does in her roast of Latrice and it’s been used in a Drag Race tour commercial that runs during the actual show for a year or more now. The “I’m a level 4 Vegan, it means I don’t eat anything that casts a shadow” was taken from an
