I’m sorry, did I actually read the phrase “Hanna-Barbera Cinematic Universe”? Because I’m all out of fucks to give about Cinematic Universes. There seems to only be one that really works, the MCU. Not counting of course the Bond films, the Star Trek films, the Star Wars films and their lessor escort mission films.
A new rumor from Marvel Cosmic alleges that, of all things, the Y2K bug will somehow, for some reason, factor into the Black Widow solo film’s plotline.
I was SERIOUSLY hoping someone actually beat me to this reference. I’d hate to think I’m the only one earwormed with it now...
Turn and run
Nothing can stop them
Around every river and canal their power is growing
Stamp them out
We must destroy them
They infiltrate each city with their thick dark warning odor
We are living in 1933-35 Nazi Germany.
Operation outer Space when they’re clearly in LEO. Typical GI Joe fake news.
Make Destro Metal Again.
I look forward to becoming deeply invested in a complex, nuanced, and heady mythology that builds and collects into an intricate puzzle that will burst into flames at 96% completion.
But the map at least show the long road getting from there to here
Hmm, they left out Star Trek: Enterprise.
You know Thrawn has the Holy Grail in his collection on screen, yeah?
Is this valid ire?
I’ll try this again because fuck kinja.
COMING IN 2019: THE DC TEAM UP YOU NEVER EXPECTED:
It’ll go a little younger, and it will deal more with his character and it’s just about him.
I agree, it’s no masterpiece, but it is certainly very enjoyable. It also gave us our first on-screen pairing of Kurt Russell and Bruce Campbell, so no complaints there.
I’d pay good money to watch Machete vs Trump.
Or just skip ahead and remake Escape from LA. As a musical.
This is maybe the only headline that could possibly make me care about a remake of Escape from New York. At least with Rodriguez at the helm there’s hope for some batshit crazy creativity sneaking in.
Ignoring whether they SHOULD, this is a pretty good pick if they insist on doing it.
