Interesting opinion. Sacco would be disappointed. More 220s for the rest of us!

I would definitely find a space for that 140 if I could.

I'll take the CL600! It's arguably the better of the two! I don't have a problem owning an M137.

This is so hard to find that someone should put it into a museum.

The latest update disc in my COMAND is actually 2007 (I should check on the price for the newest discs next time I get the chance). Yeah, I also read the forums too occasionally, but holy hell... I can't believe someone brought that to the U.S.!

Two very obvious answers are both from Hyundai Motor Company:

Yeah, I'm almost positive they sell the updated discs at dealers for somewhere around $100. I know some people on eBay list them. Of course my car has the COMAND 2.5 system (the original). The discs work in both.

I think the latest disc is 2014, but I'm not sure. I also have full interior ventilated seating with massage, the rear-seat executive pack which has rear adjustable heated and cooled seats, and rear climate controls.

V12 W140s are works of art.

Here's a hint; the people who have had the V12s since new aren't exactly average in wealth. They bought them and loved them so much that they are always willing to touch-up any imperfection. They like this strategy because it's actually cheaper than selling it and buying another. All they do is put money into it over

People who want to drive a turd and be in a cell?

The original COMAND in mine is easier to use than anything I've seen in the past 15 years. Maybe it's because I've gotten so used to it. There isn't a chance for additional airmatic quirks on any 2000-2002 220. They were worked out in the European 98s and 99s because they didn't change a thing with airmatic from '00

Jesus...

The reason the 220 chassis (completed in 1998) is valued as you say is one of several things. These were some of the first vehicles with very modern electronics.

How do you think the "new" CR-V "won" Motor Trend SUV of the year?

I agree on these terms except when you talked about the newer MB vehicles built poorly. MB has never and will never let the build-quality of a their halo flagship drop to that point. You would know if you own one (and you should). The W220s had arguably the most reliable (M113) and modular German gasoline engines in

Or.. you could get a very nice 1-owner early W220. They are the biggest secret among recent history. The 2000s got all the goodies the European-cars previously had like the heavy metal wipers, large cross-drilled rotors and nicer calipers (not available on the 03-06 which had puny brakes), and the design Bruno Sacco

Wow. Buying one of these is certainly more risky than any period MB. These are just absolutely unpredictable. I would NOT buy an E65 without every one of its service records in my hands. Of course the 6-speed was the world's first for a sedan, but MB came out with their 7G-Tronic a year later.

I'm not assuming any of what you just said. You're not even making any logical sense. Please, actually read my replies. I look at things from a business perspective as well; you don't seem to realize some things.

That's what I'm saying. They aren't anything close to being an innovative or advanced company compared to others. All the modern American Honda-branded vehicles are not innovative. Acura makes up a tiny percent of their sales volume, and you could say they were innovative, but they just use tech pioneered by other
