Exactly.
Exactly.

Goodbye.
Nope. You're not. What happens is a bunch of people jump on the bandwagon. That's why people "think" it's such a bad platform.
Well, if we're talking about non-factory 911s, hell yeah.
Looks like an amazing build.
Oh my Lord. People like you are absolutely ruining Jalopnik. Out of the about 50 people who agree with me, you are the only one who just HAD to reply and say something negative. Then, I get called a prick; mainly because some guy with his ass on his shoulders can't see something positively. Lovely.
What else am I supposed to say?... I owned a 996 and you haven't? I know what the hell I'm talking about.
I would probably go in for smuggling in an SL72, SL70, S72, S70, SL60, or S60 AMG (R129 and W140).
I'm glad you think you know what you're talking about and have owned one. Unless you bought a very early example with no options, most interiors were very nice (and leather). The top-spec GT2 was no exception. The finest materials were used.
Most likely a dealer demo or preview vehicle.
The new placements would certainly produce less lag.
I agree with you, except I'd grab me a used Cayman instead (for added rigidity). They are both some of the most beautiful production Porsche designs to me.
No, it's just not my taste....; THIS 2004 GT2 is one of the only modern 911s I prefer.
I first saw "Tesla Model R" in the title and thought I went crazy...
Audi isn't even bad with options compared to either BMW or Porsche. I mean, it's almost scary.
Everyone needs to keep in mind that this generation R8 will be newly engineered and designed. The engines will be thoroughly updated just as they were with the Huracán. Almost everything else is new.
W140 S600... Hell yes!
You're only focusing on corporate response to economic implementation through government action at the time.
Don't forget about the powered "rocking chair..."
