I learned after coming to USA that there are several countries that offer better quality of life - less crime, cleaner cities etc. It might be the most powerful nation, but there are certainly better places to live in (although that could be relative).

Not really. Especially in the US, a smartphone is an expensive choice. So using that is a discrimination against people who can't afford it or doesn't want one (it is not a necessity). Also, a lot of people buy the phone because of the 'price' rather than their needs.

Those white boxes are radar devices. They warn the nearby patrol units if somebody is speeding so they can hide ahead to catch them. It tells that 'a' vehicle passed at this speed. It doesn't tell which vehicle it was though.

Apple underestimates battery life on their devices compared to other manufacturers. Apple uses extremely power efficient parts all around.

The bigger battery compensates for the retina display. but the SoC (GPU) is also more powerful and it can disproportionally use more power when doing graphics intensive. So doing SoC intensive tasks will actually lower your battery. Kind of like discrete GPUs on a laptop compared to integrated ones.

Having 6 reactors more than other carriers shouldn't be an advantage - it shows inefficiency since the newer carriers can do better with just 2.
