My MBP stopped going to sleep when lid is closed about 2 months out of warranty. I had it taken to Apple store to fix it and they gave me a bill for $600 after 2 days to replace the logic…

I have had MBPs for a while. I have gone through several Magsafe chargers. As they get older, the magnet isn't strong enough to hold it closely enough to charge. I have noticed this with several ones. I love how you don't drag the laptop when you tripp on it but they don't seem to last as long.

Paid $900 (great deal - about $500 off at microcenter + $200 for 2nd SSD in optical bay) for the MB and $1500 (sold 4870s to get 480s sometime later) for in late 2008. I can still play most games in high settings…

Something similar happened to my Macbook Air. My sister drove over it accidentally when half of it was above a wrench. It bent about 35 degrees, not 90 like this one.
