You know what, I’m a big VW fanboy (the type who would buy a GTI without even bothering to cross-shop other hot hatches), and I’m not even mad at you. We’re all allowed to have our colorful (heh) opinions on here, including irrational hatred. Even I hesitate to recommend VWs to anyone. I perceive them as less reliable…
Translation: don’t believe actual data and believe my anecdotes. 25+ years means nothing if all it is is personal observation. And cut the ageist bullshit.
The reliability issue is way overblown and everyone can find someone with a horror story about something. It is called the forum effect.
If we are going to play the bullshit reasoning game, I have had 4 VW’s with 0 issues. In fact, my wife’s Honda Fit had way more issues.
I would go with a later 80's Fiero GT.
I think Donald may know a thing or two about not paying taxes.
Now the reason you handle it this way and not by tossing a brick wrapped in the contract through their window is because chances are, the general manager didn’t have any specific knowledge of the details on your deal. Give them an opportunity to save face and see if they can do something.
Oh man, that Crosstour looks good in white!!!
Ford actually seems to be taking a pro-active approach to the current market correction. They’re reigning in their costs, and reducing production, to maintain steady dealer inventories. GM and FCA already seem to be over-producing and piling on excessive incentives to compensate. We know how that ended last time...
The W124 (technically S124) was the best looking Mercedes wagon. You can disagree all you want, but you’re wrong.
Oh no I know, just, the boss with his supple breasts and heaving stomach was super ticked off when his pathetic Non Celebrity Driving Underling suggested a Mazda! BTW in what world was a Chevy Celebrity the logical competition for a 929???
Actually Mazda was truly hitting its stride at that time. The Mk2 RX7 the 626 and the 323 were amazing cars.
+1 The old bossy mf’s tits and stomach... and smug advice to buy a Chevy Celebrity to create the “right” image. Yea dude. Also with all that negativity toward Mazda, he’s clearly no Jalop (of course, this is pre-Miata, so maybe that attitude was ok back then).
Nicer looking design than the car that followed it... the Lumina Euro 3.1
I gathered from the video it is also a good idea to be a white male.
Always buy a car you can afford, be it a GT3 or a Honda Civic Wagon. Or in my case, both! ;-)
As someone who had never experienced the brilliance of the Mazda Miata, I asked readers last week what I should do…
The BMW 3 Series wagon is one of the best European cars you can buy for a somewhat reasonable MSRP. Now that last…
What a day this has been. When the leaders wrecked out on the final lap of the rain-postponed Monster Energy NASCAR…
