I went in knowing the repair costs. An extended warranty was 12k. I figured I would put that aside for repairs and since I had a "clean" example I would be less. Turns out I should have bought the extended warranty... If I did I would still be driving a V12 instead of a lowly v8 ;)

There were only ~400 of the 2006 S65 cars made for the US. So it is already a very rare car. But the luxo-barge isn't as popular as the other models.

The W220 looks much nicer than the W221. I am not a fan of the pontoons.

The parts were only 900$ A lot of the V12 expense is labor because it takes so long to do anything with everything so packed in.

Dealer prices, I only planned on keeping it for ~2 years and figured on a high end car I would be better with a fully dealer serviced car. I have all the paperwork for any maintenance ever done. Just looked and 2600$ was labor with 900$ in parts. To get at the plugs is a lot of work. With the V12 everything is so

I owned one of these. I replaced the following in ~12 months of ownership.

I have an S65 I was going to take down to carmax this week. You have me scared that they will lowball me. I was still hoping to beat the dodge dealers absolutely horrible offer.
