I bought a brand new 2002 626 in 2003. The meh sedan came with a huge discount my cheap ass couldn’t say no to. One interesting thing is that apparently they were slapping whatever they had at the factory on cars as options. So while my trim level didn’t have a moonroof option offered from the factory they must have

When will these be in dealers? I want to take a test drive but haven’t seen any in dealers yet.

I was hoping it would have AWD. There were rumors a few years ago that the 2017 would. I love my Sienna AWD but would like some competition for when I need to upgrade.

I bought a 2006 Mercedes S65 AMG. A huge Turbo V12 engine and 700+ FT-LBS of torque overruled the part of my brain that knew it was a bad idea. I got a quote for an extended warranty. The quote was $12k from a reputable place. In hind-site I should have bought the warranty. Within a month of ownership the car had ~$5k

I put in my deposit. Hopefully I like how it looks/the options if not it’s 100% refundable.

How many of those listed for the USSR were really combat ready. If it was anything like the other branches they were on the books and we were happy to talk about them as real because it kept funding high.

I love the Yuzhao class ship at 3:30. From the camera angle looks to be registration 666 :)

I test drove the SP and a 2015 Mustang. I really wanted the SP but the two dealers in my area that had ones I liked thought they had gold and would not negotiate. The ford dealer was much more accommodating. Strange as they were both rear wheel drive cars in new england just before winter started.

Wikipedia says 1992 and they were in the USA on an exchange program

I google my last cars VIN. It popped up listed on ebay twice by the same seller. Either he kept it or someone got it. I still look at them(S65’s) nothing compares to 604hp/738ft-lbs wrapped in a 5000lb RWD sedan

The S class has ABC suspension it's hydraulic not air. It is even more expensive than the airmatic suspension.

S65 prices:

1786 AD: Unable to agree on a direction for our blossoming country, Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson decide to have a G-Wagen drag race down Chestnut Street in Philadelphia to see who gets to write the sixth amendment. I can relate to the Boston ones. I once asked for a tonic on a plane and the stewardess looked confused(I was like 9) and asked again if that's what I wanted. Boy was I surprised when I got a Tonic Water.

My Sienna minivan has a nice big triangle hazard button. That was the "speed" button and it engaged the rockets that could take us to the moon :) My boys know that isn't true now but fond memories. I would hit the button and floor on occasion to reinforce the fact.

Oh I know what you mean. If I was keeping it long term I would have worked on it. It was supposed to be a "cheap" one or two year car to play with. wanted the pedigree of a fully dealer serviced car, oh well.

Yes and no, I got to daily drive a S65 for a year :) The torque is unreal. If I floored it at 50 yes the tires would spin a bit. But at the same time I always felt in complete control. The nannies were very aggressive. If I had to do it again I would not get the S65 I would get the SL65 ;)

On the S65 there are two coil packs one driver side one passenger side. Each does 12 plugs. The Mercedes V12 is known to eat them like candy.

Ha that is a good way of explaining it :)

It was 12k, I declined to buy but I should have.
