I'll still be here. Thanks brilliant writer! Won't be going away anytime soon!

Yeah you clearly didn't get it.

You do know these articles get cross posted on other Gawker properties? You do know that he was also commenting on STL's baseball?

Never said they were as good as the Yankees. All I'm claiming is despite the small market size of STL, it's pretty amazing from a historical purpose that they have done so well and arguably the 2nd best franchise in MLB history. That to me is saying something, especially where you compare markets where the $ spent

Not angry, just looking at you pathetically. Nice try though!

Shame

Nah, it makes you close minded. Great try though!

Is it? I find it sadder that someone has based their writing career on making fun of regions they probably have never been to nor have tried anything in that area.

True, but Cards have been in the WS nearly every decade except for the 70s. Also, compare the markets: NY vs STL, SF vs. STL, etc. For STL to be even near the top, with their market size, you have to admit is impressive.

I play a poet on TV.

It's better than American football.

I don't live in St. Louis. And yes, it's a sorry place to where it was once was. Missouri, home of Twain, and the entrance to the West.

Look at history. 11 wins world series wins for the cards. That's #2 in World Series records.

Not anger, I look in disdain at your potential in your career!

Are you mad that the Cards have the 2nd best record in all of MLB and best in all of the National League (the only real league because Fuck the American league with the BS "DL" rules. PITCHERS SHOULD FUCKING BAT)

Who cares if it's delicious?

IMO's Pizza rules. Fuck y'all if you don't like Provel.

C.A. Pinkham's most predominate MO on gawker is? Making fun of the Midwest.

Apologies for my condescending tone, but this whole "lock in" bashing that Apple gets constantly seriously gets old, yet in it's past history they have actually shown to be more open in certain cases than Google or MS, yet they don't get any of the "ra ra" from the public on this.

Sure they did, but they didn't have to. They chose to go in that direction. Knowing Jobs' insanity, he could have easily chosen the route to "go it on their own," but they didn't they chose BSD and benefits/etc. that came with it. You use the word "had to," but for me they chose to go in that direction.
