Besides my admiration to Houdini for his efforts in exposing spirtualist frauds, I have to say this:

This is true, but I can't but help but still like her. That said, same thing (IMO) can be said about Jack Nicholson. To me, he's the same in every film he's done.

Oh, that's definitely going to happen. On top of this, you know when he's locked up that there will be a slew of guys in lockup that want to challenge an MMA guy.

Houdini still was a shitty magician. See Dai Vernon for reference. ;)

I may be a liberal in my political views, but in baseball? I'm a hardcore conservative. Hell no to the DH. It makes AL baseball shit. It makes baseball shit.

Yeah... because HIV is the only thing to worry about.

3 scenes of lots of walking...

Yeah... Pearl onions are the bane of cooking existence!!! That said, have you also considered using frozen pearl onions? Often for many applications, they work just as well - and no peeling!

Well... if it's just one or two... sure this works great, but if you need a large batch of it (like for example in Thai cooking), then the "usual" method becomes a HUGE pain in the butt.

Yes... it absolutely works on pearl onions. It's often a "trick" used by restaurant sous chefs.

I love musicals, but please don't make this book into a musical. Thanks :)

No, it's your implication. Why post these studies and these "fears" when they literally are barely a blip in our food industry? Was it to inform? Ummm no... Is it hyperbole? HELL YES.

Bitch please, neither do you. Which means please quit telling people how to eat their fucking food.

Sweetie, I'd rather die of food illness, then live a deprived and restrictive life that you are proclaiming.

Quit being paranoid. If our meat was as bad as you think it was, then we'd have an epidemic and this being reported everywhere. Guess what, it ain't.

Give me a break. You are one of those. Listen, in my 41 years, I have *never* gotten any parasite from cooking meat. Do you know how I *have gotten sick*? Food preparers who do not properly WASH THEIR HANDS.

Super excited about this. Really hope this makes it. I was *never* happy or excited about the original push for Ghostbusters 3 (I know that they were trying *hard* to get Murray back, but he smartly said "no.").

Oh I can understand that! I'm sorry you had to experience that! My food poisoning situation was more on the food prep side with Ceviche. It's clear that the food preparer did not wash his/her hands! Let's just say 8 out of the 16 folks that went to that dinner party (my SO and I included) had severe food

*Shrugs* Buy from good sources, take care of your food products properly, cook them correctly, and avoid cross contamination. IMHO, these will ensure (for the most part) for safe eating. I assume you avoid sushi as well?

Because sometimes folks want to attempt perfection.... is that so wrong?
