Well I think educated fans aren’t expecting a shriek but definitely a nice sound. It’s not a four cylinder, it’s a six. And there are plenty of V6’s that sound great. That’s what I want.

I hate to say it but you are right. The FIA just need to let these new engines sing, that’ll shut people up. Including me.
He went through his manual and he couldn’t find it? He deserves it. I’m more sad his dog died because of his idiocy.
BMW just makes the 7 series to say it has something to compeye with the S class.
Well judging how I know enough people who only use their backup camera to reverse, and my heavily relying on my previous Mercedes to keep an eye out for me [pre-safe braking], I stick by what I said. I do understand where you are coming from though.
Collision avoidance and blind spot monitors are great but they encourage you to rely on them too much. It’s hard to break free of that unless you drive another car without them equally as much.
The ZR1 is definitely not exotic, but to Corvette owners it is...among corvettes. Sorry they leave that fact out, it annoys me too.
Have LS7. Can confirm.
Haha I agree with you. But BMW’s certainly are expensive to those who shouldn’t be shopping in that price range in the first place.
Don’t forget those who couldn’t afford the BMW they wanted and say “Oh BMW’s are so common” My uncle actually said that.
I agree with you. It's no issue in the comment section, but if that stuff bugs you its best not to scroll down. Sometimes I personally don't if I know an article will incite some crazy comments. I'm just recommending it for others to enjoy the site as they see fit and not be offended or annoyed.
I too am conservative, but I don’t think Jason posted this with intent to shame conservatives, if this was a liberal show I am sure he would have posted it all the same. Jalopnik is pretty good about keeping politics out, however, the same cannot be said of the comment section.
I believe naturally aspirated Porsche 911’s will hold their value well. Not worth a ton of money but definitely enjoy a depreciation curve closer to a 993 than a 996.
You’re right about this. Because BMW apparently thought a 3rd row was important enough in the X5 to charge $1700 for 3rd row seats that when being used leave about a Pontiac Solstice amount of trunk space.
YES 200 series!!!!
From a performance standpoint you are correct. And I felt the same way as you until I heard the V8 R8 startup and drive away from me last year. Very special. It sounded like an ALMS car.
I’d also like to add new Mitsubishi owners as well.
I used to feel that way. But now this feeling is reserved for new Nissan Altima, Sentra, and Versa owners.
The max-care bumper to bumper warranty is better than most new car warranties. 5 year bumper to bumper for 100,000 miles is amazing.
It's a shame. I ran across the same thing when configuring an M3. For Comfort Access keyless entry you need the $4000+ Executive package. On the E9x you were able to spec it separate. I remember you could get comfort access and navigation separate from everything else, which are the two things I care about in new…
