Despite being hacked, John said his cameras are now back online. He’s convinced the steps he took will prevent it from happening again. Besides, he says, his wife is “gung-ho” about having the ability to “nanny spy.”

I’ve had a pretty traumatic death in the family this week, and we are going to be dealing with the fallout of that for a bit. Really haven’t had time for games. I played a bit of King of Cards, and that was really fun. I thought it was supposed to be the sequel instead of another prequel. I still want to hold out hope

Finally picked up Control this week, so likely that. Also had a lot of fun getting into MH: Iceborne and I’m sure I’ll go for a handful of hunts.

Asmongold handled that much better than I would have if I was in his position, that’s for sure.

““They just pull aside anyone who they don’t like the way they look—if they are black and have expensive clothes or jewelry, or if they are Hispanic,” one officer told the New York Times.”

This was my take as someone who thought TFA was comically dumb and boring with paper-thin characters. And if anyone is shitting on the original trilogy it was Abrams glibly resetting the empire [now with 5 lasers!]. TLJ took Abrams’s Diddy-esque remix of the original trilogy and made a real song out of it. I mean,

I loved the subversion of The Last Jedi. I loved the headfake with Snoke. The combined Rey/Kylo fight was great Star Wars choreography. Luke as a burned out hippie who lived to see everything he dedicated himself to be twisted back on itself is a logical outcome that was have real world examples of. Saying Rey’s

I actually played LLTQ because I was desperate for more Princess Maker action. Keep in mind this was long before PM2: Refine (the Steam version) was available to buy in English, on, well, Steam. :)

Long Live The Queen is actually a spiritual successor created by fans of Princess Maker.

I definitely save scummed this quest to see every interaction and option.

Hell yeah Ethan. Im super jazzed about the expansion and can’t wait for it. How does it compare in scope so far? I felt like Plague of Shadows was larger than Specter of Torment, gameplay wise.

Agreed. Obviously it can go wrong, but there are plenty of instances of a third party carrying on a complex fictional world/mythology successfully, e.g. Sanderson’s conclusion of Wheel of Time after Jordan’s death having been better than Jordan’s own latter books in the series.

Just because someone didn't work on the previous entries doesn't mean they don't understand the inner workings. The inverse is true as well. Just because someone did work on the previous entries doesn't mean that they have good ideas for moving it forward.

No joke I once bent a PCB and it still worked. Like bent at a line completely 180 degrees and then put back together straight.

This is helpful when you are working with newer parts in a modern time. In years past, maybe not so much.

The screen. It just turned into a cloud that poofed out from the back of the truck like a literal toxic fart

Breaking a mobo is more likely installing components it doesn’t like. The safest method is using the same brand of hardware for it, and some research on what it tolerates(Read your mobo manual - always!). My brother fried a few mobos trying to experiment with different hardware. Let’s say I learned from his mistakes.

That game is fun but so brutal. I died so many time because I neglected my manners training. Manners save lives people!

Yup, they are very similar! Long Live the Queen is honestly the better game IMO, but then again PM3 is 20 years old.

Long Live the Queen is a clear spiritual successor to the Princess Maker series, so yes, of course it is =p
