No, Donkey Doug is Jason’s dad.
Spider-Man was amazing, enjoy!
Enjoy Devil May Cry 5. It’s exactly what I wanted from a sequel for DMC4.
After Platinum’ing Tekken 7 last week, doubling back to 6. Fuuuu, I forgot how much is tied into this crappy beat em up Tekken Force stuff. I love extra 1P content in games, but Tekken Force has always been ill-suited to the engine, and I’m glad T7 went with a straight Nethrrealm-style story-with-fights mode rather…
RecRoom, probably a ton of RecRoom, I just like the social aspect of it and how not serious it is. I just did a bunch of ^NukeTownReborn
Oh dip! It’s Krillboi!
I’m also just now getting around to DMCV! Picked it up on PC for $15. I’m not too far in, just got to the first section where you play as V, so maybe a couple of hours at most but so far it’s real good.
I was looking to pick up Control, too, but it doesn’t seem to be on sale for PC anywhere, so I may have to wait on it…
When I went out earlier today, I stopped at the local Wally World looking for movies and games on sale. While I was unsuccessful in the movie department, the staff had already taken the remaining games and placed them back in their glass cases before the sale even ended!
I’m very please with them making the AT-ST seem like a proper and visceral threat. For all its war machines Star Wars often has issues making them feel like they’re just another obstacle and not a real and present threat. This episode definitely works better at that than a lot of things have.
This sounds terribly unjust to Union. Is there some kind of, I don’t know, professional organisation Union could join? A fellowship, or cooperative of some sort? I think Union could use the support of a collegiate body that could back her up in situations like this. And not just her; I think all working Americans…
This makes me sad... at least they had the decency to take Splinter off of the header... Every so often, when my hope builds up to a sufficient level, I click on Deadspin to bring it back down, more inline with reality...
Let’s Remember Some Guys: Donkey Kong Edition.
Super cool article Ian. Im reminded of some of the dev diaries from BotW and Horizon Zero Dawn, and how many gamers lack the basic knowledge of how games are built and designed.
Unintentional (completely intentional?) positive side effect of the new format - Ditching the Tweets also ditches the G/O Media-mandated ads between every one, so Barf Bag is no longer crashing from Herbaceous ad overload on my iPad (though it still mandates an ad every 2 paragraphs, so I still got 3 autoplay Dolly…
Yeah, this is a little different in scale from when Myst got lots of people to grab these newfangled “CD drive” things.
You know my PC is good enough to handle the game but I’m not really in a position where I can spend 500-1000 bucks on a VR headset. I’d reckon most people aren’t either. Plus the economy isn’t exactly on the upswing right now. So despite really wanting to play Half-Life Alyx I’m gonna have to pass simply because it’s…
Eh, the new format isn’t exactly barfmazing, but at least it’s not shitrrific. I think the proper term for it is somewhere around vomitastic? Not sure, I’ve misplaced my swatches.
“For now, the only fool-proof way to avoid griefing is to pay into Bethesda’s monthly Fallout 1st service for access to a private server.”
That was a good drum break!
