Yesterday, I told my daughter there were over 400 pokémons to catch. She was amazed. That’s all I really wanted from this game. I really like the QoL features that respect my time as a grown-ass adult also! Can’t say I relate to the baby-made shitstorm at all.

He seems much more like Tails, the perfect little brother character.

I think that swagger’s going to be mitigated by the fact that there’s a subscription fee (for the pro level, anyhow) combined with having to buy the games (which isn’t the case for most other sub-streaming services) on top of the latency problem.

It’s a grand idea, but its pricing model sucks, and the connectivity

I really thought the story line was going to be that none of the other people had kids, and that was going to be some blinding flash of obviousness that Bob and Linda drunkenly love their kids.

I personally liked this episode - I always think it’s fun to see Bob and Linda a little outside of their comfort zone, and not quite knowing what to make of hipster loft parties. The throwaway joke about running out of glasses cracked me up. I’d probably give it a B+ myself.

Bob is an artist. He’s a poet of meat and grease, and he decided a long time ago that his artistic integrity is more important than success. As long as he can scrape by while keeping true to his vision, it’s enough.

My favorite shenanigan the kids and Jen the babysitter did was when they all got black eyes.

I for one enjoyed Jared/Donald’s origin story. He was born into a family that acts like a business, and effectively got fired from the family at a young age.

Pokemon Sword tonight (actually meeting with friends for a little launch get together). The rest of the weekend? Honestly, anything I can fit into my schedule: I have Luigi’s Mansion 3, Outer Worlds, and Final Fantasy 12 (I know, oldie, but each time I come back to it I think I become much more strategic which in

Jedi Fallen Order, game looks fantastic. Also, at some point I have to finish Luigi’s Mansion 3, but Fallen Order takes precedent this weekend.

After what seems like months of “I need to finish Breath of the Wild and then go back to finish up Bloodborne before I start anything else” I finally beat both games. I still have a couple of unfinished games in my backlog (Witcher 3 and RDR2, for example) BUT instead I opted to start Nier: Automata. So far I have no

It’s my birthday today so I will be mostly spending time with friends and family this weekend to celebrate. Should I find some time to game, I will be continuing on in The Outer Worlds. I just finished up gathering up all the quests from Groundbreaker so we’ll see where I go next!

A little RDR2 and a little Fallen Order for me. More Fallen Order if I can get it to run better on my PC. So far it’s like it runs in slow motion. Oddly enough, I’ve had no problems at all with RDR2, which I’m loving so far. If that’s all that works without spending hours troubleshooting, I’m fine with that.

Great plan for Obra Dinn. It’s a great game for that kind of tandem play. Have you played The Witness? That's another great puzzle game you might want notes for.

So lately, I’ve realized I have what I would consider a “top shelf” in my gaming library. All-time favorites that I can sink meaningful time into at least once a year, with games very rarely making it to that shelf or being removed from it.

More The Outer Worlds and Death Stranding with a dash of Gwent in between. CD Projekt Red did a stand up job of rebalancing Gwent. I haven’t played since it first came out, so the improvements are much appreciated.

I’m REALLY hoping I can through the rest of Persona 5 by next weekend, because BY GOD there are few games that I’ve ever played that demand a NG+ run more than this one. I’ve got two Palaces left to go, I’ve maxed a few relationships, and am looking forward to getting Persona that are super powered.

Pokemon Shield!  And potentially Man of Medan, if my 4 friends have some free time this weekend. XD

I’ll be watching my 7 and 9 year old fight over who get’s to play Skyrim. This is the game phase we are at right now.  Both wanting to dive into the game.  I’m fairly proud of this moment.
