Him carrying both at all times is an invention of the games. In the books, he only carries the silver sword with him if he’s on a job where it’s specifically useful.

Apparently in the books, Geralt leaves his silver sword with Roach.  The two-swords thing is strictly in the games

I really wonder what is the root cause of this series problems. Dissonance between EA and the NBA? A more hands off approach than the NFL? A desire to ape FIFA?
