If you know enough to ask the question, you know enough for the answer.

Yeah, like Alexandra says, this type of music didn't exist back in the 90s. I think the closest thing from then was what was called New Age or the more established smooth jazz.

Week going well so far. The dog was so wound up last night, she just did not want to stop playing outside. It's raining and she threw up this morning though, so it's a day to take it easier.

I totally love the past Puzzle Quest experience. After reading this review based on the flow of battle and the f2p experience, I am absolutely not interested. I do not want my match 3 gameplay to be fast paced and heart pounding.

I haven’t been successful in returning to an old save file, but Astral Chain has been on my list. I’m on mission 8, I think. The missions are just so long and dont have good midway stopping points. But I really want to finish it!

And nothing of value was lost

I completely get you on that. I've made that decision before myself. It gets into so many things, but that sense of self worth is really important.

It's the second one. At least in tech, most job postings say 5+ years experience and advanced certifications for entry level work. It's a widespread problem, not just something in Seattle. I don't think that anything can be done about it from the outside except complain. I hope you can not let it get to you. If you

It was a really long week with work last week, and a long weekend too. We started the process of painting my partner’s office as part of a room swap. Everything was moved out and cleaned, with holes patches and contemplated replacing the all the shitty wall panels with something equally shitty, then primered. Some

I’ll post something else after the jump, but here’s a counter argument to that Zelda track

The incredibly bright horns are screaming at me.

The Gongs of Battle Ring Out Again is playing, but all I hear is the battle theme from Final Fantasy VI.

If fighting games are comparable to any sporting event, its wrestling. The closest analog to the Super Bowl/the NFL in video games is Fortnite. Nobody likes be to told that their passions are niche, but fighting games are niche. If you arent Fortnite, League of Legends, Minecraft or CoD, you are pretty much niche. You

Saying EVO is niche is like saying Wrestlemania is niche.”

If Sony just wanted ad space, they could have bought a sponsorship spot at a much lower price. This pandemic also may not last forever, but it as definitely changed the habits and comforts of a great many people. Some of whom may not feel comfortable going to these big events for years to come.

In that regard, they could have bought any niche gaming convention. 10k is impressive for a convention, but its still niche. Maybe they bought these people to have them run events? But that also doesn’t make a ton of sense. Sony partnering with EVO would make a lot of sense, yes, but not buying it.

I think this moment is oversold in terms of its outside importance. I get its important for EVOs internal story, but its like a sporting team asking me to really care about some gangbuster highlight from 2006.

I posted this on twitter, but I don’t really understand the drive here. Sony bought what amounts to a convention, and a niche one at that, at a time where people are still apprehensive about in person events. And it’s not like other fighting games havent been holding their own (disasterous) events pre-pandemic. When

This and Godzilla v King Kong are the things making me consider a 1 month trial to hbo max more than anything else

Hopefully Undertale has touch controls. Im not that big of a fan of them, I just hope they are there
