Was futzing around with Retroarch last night some more. Why do newly updated cores perform worse than other programs I downloaded years ago and never updated?

I’ve only played Magic once, like 25 years ago. Wasn’t very impressed back then. I watched some Game Grumps episodes over the weekend where they played MTGA and it looked fun. But that is also from watching people who I find funny play a game that had a lot of shiny particle effects and using effective decks. I

Definitely my biggest concern in getting one, but the cost between the two consoles is more than enough to make up for it in my mind at this point.

Don’t get me wrong, the focus can be good. Some people enjoy coloring outside of the lines, some people find the lines comforting in being able to define a space that is theirs. One of the things that’s been nice has been some of the back and forth, like Riley sharing his many adventures in baking. Made the space feel

Taking that first step is super important, even if they aren’t processing those requests yet. Hopefully you don’t have to wait much longer!

Managed to make it through without missing any of these. I’m not sure if that’s an accomplishment or what. Big thanks to Riley and Mike for giving everyone a daily space just to put something out there for random people on the internet to read in a way that tries to defy judgement.

Wholeheartedly agree. The music thread seems a bit more focused.

Sad to the retirement of the daily “How’s It Going” posts. I can understand why, but they’ve been a great help in centering me and keeping connect to people outside of my partner and immediate circle of friends.

Whenever I would get a hot dog at like a convince store or something, the number one complaint I always have is that they somehow manage to both not put enough cheese inside the the bun with the hot dog and put cheese on the outside of the bun.

I love going to a place that is known for its hot dogs. Places that really make it something special. Anyone can just grill up a hot dog at a restaurant, but I want the ones that put like a whole slice of dill pickle on that dog.

While the cooler weather is nice (first day of hoodie season), the time of my beloved tank top season is drawing to a close. The sun is no longer out, and the guns must do the same.

I may be late, but better late than never. Got some vacation days next week, so I’m psyched. Bunch of switch games on the docket, including some Goemon games. I know I’m going to totally over schedule for things to do and relax with, and I’m going to feel lethargic by Sunday afternoon. And I’m going to love it all.

Haven’t bought it yet, but I’m excited to play it on Switch. All they need to do now is bring Pyre to Switch as well.

I dunno, I just listened and focused on them. You had drums and cymbals, bass, 3 different synths, and a guitar synth.

I also love these “camera pointed at a CRT” headline images. Hopefully you can keep that up!

The composition on Solo Sortie is incredible. There is at least 7 instruments playing at once, which is a huge feat of sound engineering for that time period in games for the SNES.

That’s actually one of the things that caught my eye about it.

Out of all the games, and having not played a Yakuza game before, I am most interested in Yakuza: Like a Dragon and the AC Valhalla.

You know Ash, that was not something I had considered before. Food for thought
