It was said months ago that things like this would be happening, and its just going to continue. With Sony’s reliance on pushing new consoles, I wonder if they are going to blink on pushing back first party games like Microsoft did and/or how they are going to spin a diminished launch library.

The difference between the two opening tracks is like night and day. Listening to the album version, it definitely comes across as something written and mixed for mono sound, then converted to stereo after it was mastered. The balance is definitely left heavy, and you can really hear it in the tom fills. The fills

I’m sure there were games in my life that I was disappointed by, but as a child I got so few games. Late 80s early 90s parents didn’t understand the thrust of this burgeoning hobby for many children, so we were happy with the scraps that we were given. The first game that I spent money on that I was really, truly,

I did, and probably would go with that except that my desk is 30 inches deep. Having on the wall would solve a lot of problems, and just generally get it out of the way when I’m not using it.

Getting used to the new desk setup. I like it, but I wish there was another place for the mic boom. The only desk had an edge on the side, so I could clamp it there. The new desk doesn’t have side edges (sides and top are flush), so the boom is clamped on the front of the desk. It’s fine, but not what I would like.

Don’t forget this little Hip Tanaka classic too:

I use a logitech g613, and love it. If I’m going to spend a decent chunk of change on a keyboard, it better be 10 key plus macro keys plus make me a cup of hot chocolate.

I have very fond memories of watching This Old House, The New Yankee Workshop, and similar shows on PBS with my dad. Whenever my partner says she wants to do something around the house, I tell her to find the This Old House video about it. It is definitely the only good home improvement show ever, being focused on

Been very exhausted lately from work. There will be more work this weekend too. My new desk should be getting here today, so when I’m not working this weekend, I’ll be taking my existing desk apart, moving it back into my studio, then setting the new desk up in the office, along with all the accouterments and such

Wow, they are going ham in that 90's wall of sound kind of way. The Megaman franchise is just a stand out on music throughout it’s many series. One of my favorite remixes from the X series is of the X vs Zero fight from Megaman X5

I’m surprised you didn’t turn around. I ran into a similar situation a few years ago during a huge blizzard. I made it into work even though I shouldn’t have (both traveling conditions-wise and accident-wise), and I vowed never again.

Been having a tougher time again with work. Just feeling down with it and I hope to be able to move on at some point. Long hours have left me not really feeling like I can relax, and it’s just kind of piling up.

I ordered a new microphone and boom arm kit, and it should be getting here today. No real reason, other than I wanted it. The cat and the dog have been insanely rambunctious the past few days, and its partly driving me up the wall. Took me about an hour to complete Level 3 for Mario 2 last night, just because the cat

This game needs way more love than it got.

If I’m recalling correctly, 8th MS Team was very good. Much more of a real life tank analog in Vietnam-esque setting. I recall that one being very capital r Real, in scope and world. I do tend to prefer the more space opera settings of other Gundam series though.

Gundam Wing was the big entry point for most Americans. Very boy band-ish and angsty. I think the original series and storyline is a bit harder to get into nowadays; just different animation styles, quality, and themes. One of the good things about alot of the series that came afterwards used the same set up (Earth vs
