Today will be a more relaxing day, filled with video games, food, and beer. I’m going to have a poke bowl for lunch today. My partner got it at the grocery store yesterday, but it as quinoa in it and that hurts her stomach. I’ve always been entranced by the idea of a poke bowl, but very hesitant to try one because I

It is backlit, but I installed an IPS screen which is a wholesale replacement. They are a much better screen and easier to install than just a backlight. The original screen also had significant pixel bleed and was unusable

Going for a drive today. I installed the gameboy parts yesterday, and the results are fantastic. Here’s the before:

Hell yeah dude! Pick up Kirby Tilt n’ Tumble too. You can control it with the Gameboy Player by literally picking up your Gamecube and tilting it around.

Good luck with the move!

and hell yeah, the gameboy parts just got here.

My Gameboy parts should be here today. I am very excited to put that all together and play some classic Gameboy games. Outside of that, I *want* to play Deadly Premonition 2, but I feel like I will end up playing a lot of Dead Cells. I want to pick up Paper Mario, Panzer Paladin, and Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2,

T.E. KO and Murder Mystery Party are really good.

What I’ve found most helpful in getting started with tasks is to either make sure they are tasks that I really want to do. If I really want to do those things and can’t muster the mental or physical energy, I know I need to solve that problem first before I can realistically tackle the task I want to do. Like if I’m

Glad that you got an apology, but I hope that’s not an indication of a HR problem, of them disclosing the sources of complaints.

Wow, that is some grade A horseshit right there

The past two or so weeks I’ve actually been feeling a lot better. I started to get some news about process improvements at work that have been just overwhelming (the processes are still overwhelming, I just have news of potential future improvements instead of no news at all), a somewhat reduction of overtime, and I fi

Agreed. The walrus just hoses those cute little strawberries

There has been very little time for reading that isn’t work related or technical reading for a while. I make some time for the monthly releases of Attack on Titan, but that’s only a few minutes each month. I really do want to find more time to read, especially since I have my Star Wars EU (now called Star Wars Legacy)

It’s about the same here in PA. My poor dog wants to go outside and play constantly, but it’s just far too hot for her. I feel bad, and then she comes back inside and is just fine. It’s just a constant with her taking the ball outside and inside.

The only radio station I listen to anymore is NPR, and that’s only in the car. Ive not been too big on GTA style open world games since San Andreas, and I’ve never really put too much thought into ingame radio stations like those. I don’t really listen to external music or podcasts when playing games, much more

“what is a weekend?”

Hollow Knight is a game I started playing for a bit and I found the world just super interesting. But I didn’t stick with it, and knowing how involved it is, that makes me a bit hesitant to jump back into it. I only played Deadly Premonition 2 a for a few hours last weekend, up to the point where I got out of the

I’ve seen many stories of, one as recently as a few months ago, of PETA or PETA associated people stealing pets and euthanizing them. Just absolutely horrible stuff.
