That honestly, is not good advice. There is a huge gap in planning on where to live or where to apply for jobs, and the decision to get married.

Now playing

A lot of the experimentation was flawed from the start, with the contamination being broken earlier on and the participants basically being one step away from the Lord of the Flies after like 3 hours in. The experiments were super expensive and don’t seem to have resulted in a lot of knowledge.

Got to head into the dentist today. Despite all of the dangers of going around and having people prod at things in my mouth and faces near each other, I need to make sure my teeth aren’t falling out of my head before everything shuts down again. At least afterwards I can go over to my parents and look for my

While on a 50 mile hike when I was in Scouts, I almost stepped on a rattlesnake. It was sunning itself on a rock, and it was practically invisible in broad daylight. I’m just trudging along with my pack and then I hear the tell-tale rattle. I stop and scan around me, finding the snake about 20 feet ahead of me on the

Living out of boxes is terrible when moving. At least you dont have to do it for very long.

Burgers were last weekend unfortunately. The honey vanilla ice cream turned out amazing. I did up the salt in the recipe. It called for 1/4 of a teaspoon, but I put in more like 3/4 or a full teaspoon. Make it much better in the mixer. Ended up having ice cream and pancakes for breakfast today.

The honey vanilla recipe is from the little booklet the ice cream maker came with, so I feel very confident about this.

It’s ok. It’s what happens when you try and experiment

Excited to play some Deadly Premonition 2 and hanafuda this weekend.

I think the reducing idea might work here. I really was surprised at just how much liquid came from the honeydew, and that was just from the food processor. There was very little pulp left.

I’ve unfortunately been finding sorbets mainly, which is unfortunate because I want it to be ice cream lol.

I really like celery. Big fan of just dunking it in some ranch dressing, hummus, or making ants on a log. I also forgot entirely what CSA stood for, until I saw a sign at a farmer’s market over the weekend. I told my partner they would like doing that and they agreed, but said they also prefer to pick out their

You are about 3 years too late to be effective with this argument. It's already been taken over.

that would make sense then!

I knew they were smaller, but I also didn’t realize how much thicker they were than western playing cards. They are about a as thick as a credit card and much more rigid, with the design almost glued on to it. I got a Nintendo deck too, and was surprised that the card designs were almost identical to the Switch

I liked the first Curse of the Moon and Ritual of the Moon. There was a lot of game there for kind of a surprise release of a throwback game that sought to emulate Castlevania 3., with multiple endings and characters and play styles. I got the easy ending in one night, but for the “complete” ending it offered a lot of

I definitely get you on trying to find a game that clicks. I think this and next week have some great Switch games that I’ve been waiting on, specifically Deadly Premonition 2, CrossCode, and Paper Mario: The Origami King. I had forgotten about Catherine: Full Body and didn’t realize Bloodstained: Curse of the Night 2

For plumbing fixtures, one of the best pieces of advice that I’ve gotten was to get them from a plumbing supply store rather than a big box home improvement store. You may be getting the same designed pieces, but they are better made. Like in what is a plastic piece on a big box store faucet is a metal piece on the

The other week, Game Grumps were playing the Switch Clubhouse Games, and they ended up spending an episode playing hanafuda. It looked super fun, and I wanted to play it with my partner. I couldn’t see how you could have done local multiplayer on that game, so I bought a deck of hanafuda cards. They came in the mail
