The issue was that the juror didn’t disclose that he was a “victim” in the statutory rape case (because, according to him, the relationship was consensual, with an older man). And the juror was a man.

You have to, at the very least, disclose it in the questionnaire if asked. All sexual assault cases will ask if you or a close family member have ever been a victim or convicted of sexual assault. Important to note here, the jury foreman was a man, not a woman.
Unfortunately it is typical of jury selection. So, yes, if you have been robbed you would most likely not be be “valid” for a robbery case. If a family member was murdered, you would most likely not be “valid” for a murder case. It is the way jury selection usually works.
So relieved that the jury foreman situation did not save this guy. A second chance to do the right thing and they took it. Good job, society.
“four hours to convict him of five counts of aggravated rape, two counts of aggravated sexual battery and unlawful photography.”
I am sorry, but that was my first “go to” as well - especially after today’s scumbag that only got two years and was out after only 15 months - how long will he serve? Seems an important question...
First we need to know how he’s holding up with the whole incarceration thing... has his quality of life been adversely affected? That will have to be factored in.
let us have this, even for just a little while. k?
He likes to kill animals for sport. Fuck him.
I met a guy who went to expensive college USA - we will call him Chad - came to my university in Scotland and lived in our flat. His psychopath father was one of the US top corporate executives and they had a house in the Hamptons or Martha’s Vineyard or some other place. The son was so full of despair and hate for…
Also a big reputation for taking cocaine while at the Hill School before college.
My mom flew with Fred Trump Jr. in her days with TWA. The Trump family seem to have a troubling past with bad fathering and alcoholism. It sounded really like a much darker version of the stories she used to tell and now the Trump family really sounds like an alcoholic family.
I have a friend who went to U Penn with Trump Sr. Yes, the one running for President. My friend is an older, East Coast conservative family white man, and he *despises* Trump. He describes Trump as the most despicable, venal human being he has ever met, with no redeeming characteristics.
Trump’s brother died of alcoholism, so likely he was very hard on any kid that showed signs of drinking at all. It’s kind of sad they all seem to worship him now if this is true. Guy sounds like an asshole all that aside though.
Maybe he finally got himself into therapy. I can’t imagine Trump allowing him to go to a therapist as a kid. He’d probably call it being a weak loser.
I was at Penn at the same time as Melker. Donnie was indeed a sad sack of a human being who peed everywhere and assaulted everyone. He belonged to the most rape-y of rape-y fraternities and comfortably communicated with his asshat brothers in the misogynist language of his father and...he just sucked. He really did…
If you’re laughing much harder at humor directed at other races than at other humor, that could come off as douchey. Add in that this was merely one annoying aspect of him that night (being super drunk, spilling a drink on someone), it paints a picture of an asshole.
Donald Trump slapped his second-most slappable son, who was wearing a Yankees shirt at the time?
Do I believe they called him “Diaper Don?”
To be fair, it was a different era. In 1998, urinating in other people’s beds wasn’t as big of a deal as it is today.
