You fuck handrails?
You fuck handrails?
Now where have I seen something like this before.... oh right....
You’ve obviously never spent time around military R&D departments. Thinking up stuff that no normal (or post adolescent) individual would deem rational is kind of their thing.
Hole. Lee. Crap.
Because the only way most of us broke-asses will be able to afford this thing is with 30 years of depreciation.
Not even just the neighbors. While I think the Fiat Abarth is one of the best sounding 4 cylinders on the market, when my wife leaves for the gym in the morning, it wakes up me, the dogs, and sometimes the kids. Then again, when the dogs hear her coming home from 3 blocks away. A “silent mode”, or “reverse cutouts”…
With all the Kinja do-overs and random resets, I’ve been in and out of the grays more than I can count. Fortunately, it has been a little while since the last major “improvement”. Crap, now I probably jinxed it!
I definitely picked up what you were putting down.
I’d give this one two stars if I could, because it’s funnier the second time.
Kudos on the watermark. Way cooler than the traditional “property of...” in giant font across the middle of the pic, ruining the whole image. I actually zoomed in to see what was “stenciled” on the trim before I realized what it was.
Wait. That’s “generic white guy”?
Glad I’m not the only one.
Actually, helipad markings are specifically designed to avoid disaster. The clearances are calculated and the spots are marked out accordingly, so that when the aircraft are on the spots, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to hit something. Now, when the aircraft are not on the spot, all bets are off and you’re on your own.
While there were a ton of great photos in that set, that van was the one that really jumped out at me too. Maybe because it’s kind of the antithesis of speed week (breaking the speed limit in that thing is probably as scary as trying to break the 200 mph barrier on a motorcycle!).
Hells to the noes!
As a helicopter pilot and aerospace engineer, I can happily explain the principles behind all those maneuvers.... witchcraft! Seriously. Just watching that made my head hurt.
No, no, no.....
I made sure to read waaaay down the comments to make sure I wasn’t the only one to pick up on that one. If you’ve seen them before, it’s obvious. But, if you’ve never seen them (probably most people) it’s easy to miss.
WTF?!?!
Extremely under appreciated comment.
