As an aerospace engineer, and a helicopter pilot, I can confirm that helicopters do indeed fly via some sort of magic.

Looks like a rotor-over (like a wingover...but helicopter) and the camera angle makes it look funky. It turns to the right because at the top of the arc, you’ve got minimal torque on the rotor head, so you need to push the tail around with the tail rotor. In a Sikorsky, you rotate to the left because the rotor turns…

Oil, brakes, spark plugs, tires, a set of belts, and two O2 sensors are all mine has required in 13 years. I changed the timing belt and water pump at 110,000 miles, because “that’s what you do”, but they were pristine. Oh, and a couple of batteries, because Texas heat is brutal on car batteries.
